"So..." Lianna said, hands clasped together as she walked up to her roommate. "Can she? Please?" 

In front of her was Enverna, one brow raised so high it probably hurt. 

Behind her was Zura, who Lianna had just said should stay with them for the time being. 

"..." 

Silence ensued. 

"Um, well, if her life would be threatened without us then... I suppose it is the least we could do for her." 

[You say that but why do you look so annoyed?] Lianna questioned internally, but she did not voice that query. Instead, choosing to take the victory as it was presented, she raised her hands. 

"Yes! Okay, let's get your stuff!" 

"Uh, hey," Zura leaned over Lianna's shoulder, looking at Enverna. "Thank you." 

"You're welcome," Enverna responded.

Later, as the nighttime rolled around, Lianna gestured at the now vacant couch. 

"So, there you go. You can sleep here for the night. I'll grab you some blankets."
