1 Chapter1-Introduction and Soul Bind

"ugh…stop pointing the light into my eyes…."I said,thinking that the one pointing the light into my eyes was my roommate from college,but then I remembered I lived alone I just moved out of the dorm three days ago into an apartment.

shit am I being robbed but I don't have anything I just moved in ,opening my eyes slowly to check the situation ,I freaked out I saw nothing but darkneqss.

Fuck where the hell am I did I get kidnapped ,but I why would anybody want to kidnap a poor orphan loser like me,shit maybe they wanna kidnap me for that reason a poor loser without any friends or family nobody will ask about him combined with his girlsh cute looks there isn't any better target to slice up or sell.

I have to get out of here,but how I started to struggle when I realised I wasn't tide maybe they thought with my small size and thin arms I couldn't do anything I started feeling depressed ,what are you thinking right know it's not time to get depressed you have to think of a way to get out of here I tried to motivate myself.

"how can I get out of here?"I asked myself.

"you can't" answered a voice.

"what why?" I asked ,but then I realised that I that I was talking to someone else, I started moving my head slowly as I was sweating bullets in fear of meeting my kidnapper,but what I saw was a something that made me skip a beat,what I saw was bueatiful girl so bueatiful that I couldn't describe her with words.

After staring at her in a daze for a while I finally snapped out of my daze,as I realised something was amiss ,that is because my kidnapper or the one I thought was had wings,yeah wings like that of a bird,I was staringt an angel,I was astonished at first but then confused ast to why I was in the presence of an angel ,that was when I came to a thought that almost made me break down I didn't want to believe it but with the angel before me it was most likely that I'm dead,but I had to make sure so I gather my courage and asked her while stuttering "your an angel?"

"yes"the angel answered with a voice as called as ice.

"that means I'm dead right" I answered on the verge of tears.

"no" answered the angel.

"Then why am I here"I asked in confusion.

"what do you mean why are you here didn't you receive the heavenly message?"asked the angel with a weird but charming face that almost made me drool.

"what message I didn't receive anything"I said

"that's immpossible you can't enter this place unless you received the heavenly message"she said confidently that I started doubting myself.

"when was the message sent?" I asked curiously.

" it was sent about 10 minutes ago"she said with the same cold voice.

"ooh…I was taking a nap at that time" I said with realisation,and a bit of embarrassment.

"sigh….well I was about to explain everything anyway so lets begin with why you guys were summoned"

"wait you mean there are other people in a similar situatiob as me"

"yes but I doubt there are many like you sleeping in the middle of the day"

"haha...let's just forget about that and continue our conversation how many are there that were taken here other than me"I asked curiously.

"other than you there are 999,999"

"wow that many why?"

"I was gonna explain that if you hadn't kept interrupting me now can you shut up for a second"she said a annoyed ,but as charming as ever.

"well lets begin with the message ,it simply states that you and all the others have been chosen by the gods to adventure and train through the multiverse to train to become their subordinate gods or if you have enough potential become gods yourself"said the angel.

"but why me"I asked,not because of displeasure or anger cause you know whick idiot would hate being an immortal almighty god.

"you have been chosen because you have potential why else would you be chosen anyway you and the others will be sent seperatly through the multiverse to train independently but as a precaution for you to not die a useless death angels were sent to help you survive. however,we won't aid you unless an enemy much more powerful than you attacked you but we won't kill or injure him we will only help you flew so don't get full of yourself as there are even individuals and beasts that even angels can't deal with and they're not really that rare so you must practice caution do you understand"

"yes" I said while nodding like a chicken picking corn.

"well let's get to the next point as another way to aid you the gods installed a aiding system that will make understand the powers that you will wish for in numerical values like in those things you humans call games and you can summon this system by thinking the word status also this system has many other function like shop that allows you to buy many different things from around the multiverse in return for achievement points that you will gain through getting stronger through ways that I will explain"said the angel as she waited for me to absorb the information that I just received.

"as for getting stronger can you open your system screen for better understanding"she said.

"ok" I said ,and immediately thought of the word 'status' ,then a semi-transperant light blue screen appeared in front of me.

As I was seeing my status I heard the angels voice.

"other than your vital energy and dexterity and intelligence and your stamina all your others are just pathetic" she said coldly,making me really depressed.

"don't feel depressed it just means that your no suited for melee combat but long ranged ones"she consoled.

"like a magician"

"yeah something like that"

After geeting consoled by the angel ,I continued looking at my status screen until I got to the skill section and saw my first skill I blushed from embarrasment but I ignored it for the time being mechanichal engineering ,I felt weird as that was my subject in college how did it become a skill,and the angel as if reading my mind answered me.

"it is normal if you think about it properly for example if someone practices his occupation would be swordsman and skill swordsmanship and since you studied mechanical engineering it's normal for you to gain it as a skill but since you are in a special situation and need combat or support related occupation mechanical engineer has been forcefully removed from your occupation and will be replaced with five other occupations from your choice but I advise you to choose wisely because some might be transported to an uninhabited world"

"but even if I get an occupation how would it be useful if I hadn't even practiced or studied that occupation"

"you don't have to worry about that after you decide upon the occupation you will receive knowledge enough for you skills to reach lv.1 but if you want to raise your skills higher than that you will have to depend on your self or get a master of that occupation or buy books from the system shop well then any more questions"

"umm...I only have two more questions what is vital energy and how do I raise my level is it with exp like in games"

"vital energy is as it implies is the power of vitality you can use it in many different ways magicians convert vital energy into mana to break the physics laws of their respective dimensions warriors convert them into chi necromancers use them to forcefully give life to the dead as for levels you raise it by collecting vital energy from the world or creatures you kill and absorb their vital energy to increase your limit capacity by inserting it into your body cells to forcefully evolve into a higher being"

I was stunned ,evolve into a higher being I should have realised this when she told me about becoming subordinate gods or gods,but still evolution humanity's dream becoming a higher being the opportunity was right in front of but still I couldn't believe it I was in a daze until the angels voice snapped me out of it.

"well if you don't have anymore questions why dont you choose your occupations"

"wait you said before that I will gain achievement point as I get stronger how so"

"uhh… I almost forgot you gain achievement points through killing monsters they come as an addition to motivate chosen to kill beasts or other similar creature plague the multiverse and lay waste to wherever they go that also involves humans that commeted sins that affect otheres in a negative way but there are alternatives such as completing quests that the system provides you"

Killing humans I thought can I even do such a thing forget about killing humans other than insects the only thing I have harmed was a dissecting a frog in biology class ,and I almost vomitted my intestines in that class,lets forget about this for now I shake my head to snap out of it and push the problem to the back of my mind.

"well let choose my occupations" I said,trying to divert my attention from the problem.

"ok just think about status then occupation choose wisely ok I don't want you to regret it later"

I follow what she said and a lon list appears in front of me,the list is divided into two categories which are combat and support respectively,I started scrolling the combat related because it was the most important.

The list was long ,and there were alot of options,but I skipped most of them as they were related to close combat ,the list was long and hard to decide ,there where even occupations that I haven't heard about,it was really hard to decide,so I asked the angel.

"I can't really decide there are alot of options and they all seem good but I can't take any chances" I said,because if I make one single wrong decision it might be my doom.

"hmm….since you already have the mechanical engineering skill I think the puppeter occupation is suitable for you also according to your memories that I saw your were quite good at gaming I think if you add a receiver and transmitter and a hand controller I think you'll become quite strong"

Wait she saw my memories,then she must have seen all those embarrassing memories ,as if reading my mind that cold face changed into smirk and said

"I have to say I and some other female angels saw some intresting stuff over there no wonder you got your pleasure to level 2 you actually had 4 girlfriends and almost broke their hips in bed and the halarious part is that you got dumped because they felt that if they slept with you one more time rheir hips will actually be broken"she said wil chuckling evily.

I was blushing,blushing so hard that I felt my face almost dripped blood.

"ss...sso how do I chhose the puppeter occupation"I said trying to divert the conversation.

"just consentrate on the occupation and it will be chosen"she said while giggling charmingly.

I do as she says and suddenly felt so much pain assault me ,I had not felt so much pain in my life,I fell to my knees as I started to lose my consciousness,I felt my pain ease as new memories filled my brain,I started breathing heavily while trying to remain conscious.

"It's normal to feel such pain the first time you get foreign memories imprinted to your brain don't worry the next time won't be as painful you'll just feel a light sting as your has adabted to it"she said

"is that ….huff huff...so"

"why didn't you tell me that it would be this painful" I said as I recovered from that pain.

"because if I had done that you might have chose an occupation because you hate pain don't you" she said with a cold sadistic smile on her face.

She was right pain was one of the things that I hated the most ,but I doubted that that was the reason she didn't tell me.

" are you sure that that was the reason you didn't tell me"I said with slight anger in my voice.

"ohoo it seems I've been caught"she said with a light blush on her face "well that doesn't matter does it don't worry this time it won't hurt that much"

"humph"I snorted not dwelling in the matter anymore ,cause you know she's still an angel and if I somehow piss her off she can just punch me to the afterlife, even if she can't just kill me I still to rellay on here in the future so it's better to not piss her off, I thought as I open the support occupation list,it was much longer than the combat list as there were much more support related occupations than combate ones.

As last time,I was confused as what to choose so I asked the angel that I still didn't know her name yet ,I had asked her a while ago but all she said was you'll know soon and I have a bad feeling about it , she recommended that I choose pill concocter as it seemed to contain knowlege of helpful pills and plants ,I had wanted to take the hearbalist occupation but she said that at the higher levels of pill concocter I would gain almost all the skills of a hearbalist so it was a good choice,and the other occupation was a healer she said that it was a must have occupation to survive and I don't have to advance it's skills too much cause I'm a puppeter and have to control my puppetes from a safe distance,as for the third support occupation it was blacksmith she said that if I were to be transported to a world without intelligent life forms like humans or other advanced creatures,I would have to make my own weapons also mabye I can make my own weapons for my puppets or something, as for the fourth support occupation it was the most important one as a puppeter which was curpenter ,although I received the puppeter occupation I only received how to control puppets their types as well as a little fighting strategies ,but not how to make them so I had to have the carpenter occupation to make my unique puppet cause if I asked someone else to make it he'l know all it's secrets.

"finally it's over"I said, as I massages my forhead from the slight headache that came as a bonus with the knowledge.

"there's still one more thing"said the angel.

"what is it"I asked without much thinking.

"didn't you say you wanted to know my name" she said cheerfully,which gave me a bad feeling as the last time she smiled ended with me almost losing consciousness from pain ,but now she was almost hopping from joy which filled me with dread,but still I couldn't stop my curiosity so I asked and the result was

"SOULBIND!!!!"she shouted,I didn't have the time to react I didn't even have the time to scream all I felt was pain like no other as if I was being pierced by a thousand spear before I passed out and the last thing I saw was her blushing gorgeous face with a sadistic smile platered on it.

At that day I learned her name and a very important lesson which was curiosity killed the cat.
