'Why did you leave your Alpha alone and come to me, Eric?", I asked the man who was standing in front of me, waiting for my orders, if any.

'It's his order himself.", His words confused me. I couldn't help but wonder how did Zayden have an idea about everything, then? 'He met with an unknown vampire who had the power to see the future, and she told me that you might get kidnapped. So, he sent me for your safety. ‘She is my life, Eric. If anything happens to her, then I will die. So, you have to keep your Luna safe at any cost.' were his exact words.", He explained.

Zayden might have had an idea that something might happen to him if he would visit the said place alone. But still, he thought about my safety first.

‘Did he forget that I have power too?

That's a different thing that I don't want to use because I am a peace-loving person.'

Ugh...Sometimes I hate how he thinks he could sacrifice himself for me.
