Chapter 34 - Panda-kun!

Eventually, Hiruzen gave into letting them be apart of the Leaf. Though I knew that I would not see them for a while since they soon left to join in the resistance against that one kage that I didn't bother to remember the name of.

I swiftly rushed out of Hiruzen's office after the team and I had completed D ranks. Whenever something went wrong during them the Villager that the mission was for would try to pin the blame on me. It was fucking ridiculous.

Thankfully we were done for the day and me and Sakura were walking down the street. The villagers somehow didn't know that I was a girl, even though a bunch of the civilian kids that had been in my class at the academy had seen who I really am. And it was pretty clear that I was a girl.

So it seemed for the most part that no one noticed. Until a square rock started to follow us. I sighed. When did I met Konohamaru?

I continued to walk.

"Why are you following me Konohamaru, Udon, Moegi?" I said, tilting me head to the side slightly.

"As expected from a maste- YOU'RE A GIRL?" Konohamaru said wide eyed. I face palmed.

"Why is everyone taking forever to realize this fact?" I muttered rubbing my face with furrowed brows.

"Say, will you be my girlfriend?" I froze and stared at Konohamaru for a second.

"Kid, you're what? Seven?" Before I could continue with my sentence, I felt a deadly aura. Sakura was glaring at Konohmaru. Shit.

"Ah! Why are you with this ugly hag?!?" A tic mark appeared on Sakura's forehead and I backed up slightly. I rather not experience the punch of the fierce blossom. Not after the fact I came up on her training and watched her destroy the training grounds. I even saw her working on that seal. Now, you may be wondering how she knows about this shit but . . . I may or may not have explained it to her. Now that I think about It I might just get that seal just to show off.

Anyways . . . Konohamaru saw Sakura getting angry and bolted. At first I didn't think anything of it until I heard a screech.

SHIT!

I rush to catch up with him.

Gaara, Temari, and what's his face. Um . . . ah! Kankuro! Though, Gaara's hanging in that tree.

Konohamaru was on the ground rubbing his butt, not noticing the hand that was coming at him. Just as the hand was about to reach him, I grabbed him by the back of his shirt and pulled him to me.

"No need to get violent Kankuro, don't want to start a war because you hurt the Hokage's grandson. And me, the forth hokage's kid." I said, muttering the second part under my breath.

What I didn't realize was that a certain overgrown, sandy raccoon had made Gaara's hearing better at that moment.

"The Hokage's grandson?" Kankuro asked with sweat starting to form on his forhead.

"Yes, his grandson. So would you mind telling me why you thought it was ok to hurt a child? He's not even out of the academy yet!" I glared at him, the Eyes of Kurama suddenly glowing. I watched as both Tamari and Kankuro went pale.

"I- I'm sorry for my idiot brother, he never thinks things through." Tamari bowed to me, avoiding my glowing blood red eyes.

I stared at her for a bit longer before relaxing my stance, the red fading from my eyes. "It's fine, I may have over reacted a bit." I bowed in return. "I should not have responded that way. Please except my apologizes."

Tamari smiled, still a little pale. I tilted my head slightly and looked in the tree Sasuke and Gaara were located.

"Sasuke, get your emo Uchiha duckass down from that tree already will you?" He gave me a small glare before jumping down and landing next to me. I continued to stare at the tree. "Could you also come down here please?"

My team looked confused but the Tamari and Kankuro went completely pale again. I expect the swirl of sand to appear close to his siblings but suddenly there he was, right in front of me. I stared at his seafoam eyes for a minute before I took a step back.

I smiled.

"Welcome the the Leaf, I hope that while you're here that your stay is nice. And good luck on the Chunin exams." I could feel Shukaku sturing with in Gaara. I let my eyes go a little unfocused. "It's good to see you Shukaku."

The stares of the sand siblings went wide. I slowly turned around to walk away.

"What's your name?"

Gaara?

I turn and look at him to see him staring intensely at me.

"My name is Kyra."

"Full name."

"You'll find out during the exam."

I could tell that my team was confused on why I didn't say it outright but I wasn't going to tell them just yet. I had things to reveal about myself and I was going to have a good time doing it.

I thought for a second.

"Are you guys lost?" Tamari straightened up.

"Ah yes" she pulled out a slip of paper "we're staying here." I looked the paper over before handing it back.

"I'll take you there." Both Sakura and Sasuke tried to protest but I waved them off. "I'll be right back, and Kakashi's gonna be late anyways."

I walked past them and signaled them to follow me. We walked down the streets of Konoha and I felt the glares of the civilians. I could tell that the siblings felt them too but I could tell that they thought I was directed at Gaara.

"It's the monster." The civilians whispered. Kankuro and Tamari got tense. We continued to walk with the glares on us, well me when we walked past that mask shop. The one where the man who pushed me resides.

"HEY-!" the old man was coming towards us with an angry red face. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME NEAR MY SHOP YOU DEMON!"

Before I could react, a glass bottle was swung at me and shattered. I felt the shards cut into my skin. I felt the blood drip down my face and arms. The man raised the bottle again and I released my bloodlust looking at the man with Kurama's eyes.

"Attack me again and I'll take this up with the Hokage. Then I'll show you was a real demon looks like." He stepped back and I continued to walk down the street with the sand siblings looking at me with wide eyes. I felt a hint of Gaara's thoughts. She's like me.

I began to pull the pieces of glass from me, the cuts healing as soon as I pulled them out. I felt more being pulled out on one side and saw Tamari tugging some out.

"Thanks."

We arrived at the place they were staying at and I said goodbye. I took out a water bottle and controlled the water to clean the blood from my skin.
