Bei Yang smiled as he saw Chen Kaori arriving at the entrance of the restaurant.

"Senpai, good morning." she greeted with a subtle bow and a smile.

"Good morning. You look...special today." he held back his words.

Chen Kaori looked elegant but professional sporting the cream ensemble.

"Well, shall we head in?" she asked.

"You can prepare the documents in the private room. The waiter will lead you." Bei Yang nodded to the attendant. "I will personally bring the clients in."

"Okay." Chen Kaori was led by the attendant.

After coming into the private room of the restaurant, Chen Kaori began to check the copies of the documents in each folder, making sure everything was in place.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door and the attendant opened it for the other guests.

Bei Yang went in first to usher the clients.

Chen Kaori stood up to greet them, but her smile froze when she saw Assistant Jiang entering the room.

'H&B?' she was confused. H&B has its own advertising department. They do not need to outsource such services from a small company like Blink Advertising.

She furrowed her brows. 'Impossible. Assistant Jiang is like a loyal dog to He Zifeng, almost comparable to her previous self. He would not work for just anyone. Which means...' her thoughts were interrupted by the overbearing presence who just came into the room.

Bei Yang was flustered as he gestured towards the seats. He then went near Chen Kaori to sit next to her. "Good morning, everyone. Please have a seat...this...this is my partner, Chen Kaori." he introduced nervously. He had never dealt with such a big client before, and instead of the marketing department employees, the CEO of H&B himself went to meet with them.

Chen Kaori nodded in recognition, but her expression was stiff. She dodged He Zifeng's eyes and only looked at Assistant Jiang when she was introduced.

As everyone sat down, He Zifeng's eyes never left Chen Kaori like an eagle's always locked onto its prey.

She could feel the stare, but chose not to acknowledge it. This made her look down on the table, almost clutching the folders in her hands.

"Uh...let me get straight to the point, as not to waste CEO He's time..." Bei Yang felt suffocated by the atmosphere.

'He could waste all day staring, actually.' Assistant Jiang thought as he had a smirk.

Bei Yang noticed that Chen Kaori was spacing out, so he leaned near her face and whispered to her ear, "Kaori, the documents..."

Chen Kaori's eyes widened as she snapped out of her thoughts and she suddenly looked up from the table, locking gazes with He Zifeng, who sat opposite her seat. She gulped as his stare was intimidating and it was the pair of eyes she least wanted to see at the moment.

He Zifeng kept his stare but refused to utter a word.

Chen Kaori broke her stare on him and started handing out folders with the documents she prepared.

Bei Yang cleared his throat, "We offer services from logo creation and/or enhancement to creative plots for commercials. We prepared samples of our work with other companies and so far, we were getting good feedbacks from them as the effect of the ads we worked on had influenced their sales."

He Zifeng did not even move to read the documents and kept staring at Chen Kaori, who then furrowed her brows.

Bei Yang felt more nervous as the CEO did not look impressed at all by what he had said.

Assistant Jiang casually browsed his copies, never really checking. He knew the boss is determined to bring Chen Kaori back to work for him. What Blink Advertising can do does not really matter. As long as Chen Kaori is there, the boss can even sign a lifetime contract with them.

Chen Kaori felt irritated by the stare when it persisted after the dishes they pre-ordered before the meeting had arrived.

"Assistant Jiang, as far as I know, H&B has its own advertising team. Why did you want our services?"

Finally, He Zifeng smirked and answered, "It has been dissolved."
