Draco was shocked to see them putting their logo on something this secretive, however, he figured it did make sense for a merchant organization to have an auction house. He put the key back into his inventory and started walking to his mother's shop. He made it to the shop and as he was walking in, her spotted Ruth. "Hey, Ruth." she looked up and was stunned for a second before fast walking over to him and giving him a hug before pulling away and giving him an appraising look.

"Where have you been?" Draco started describing what happened to him and she slapped him on the arm. "Not that, your mother told me about it and invited me to the party, what I'm talking about is why didn't you come to see me when you first arrived?" Draco smiled a bit thinking she must have been worried about him. "A whole year, your clothes must be in taters, you better not have gone to anyone else.'' She gave him a hard stare and Draco couldn't help a loud laugh escape his lips. "All about business huh?"

She smiled, her gaze going soft. "I'm glad you're safe, my boy." Ruth let out a small cough and turned around to continue walking back to her counter. "Now what can I do for you? If you're looking for your mother she is currently working on a very large order so you will have to wait to see her." "Actually I have to talk to you, about gear." the sentence was simple enough, seeing as she worked in a shop that sold 'Gear', however the way he said it told her it was a little more serious than a simple question.

She leveled him with an equally serious look, one of all business. "Are we going to be talking as family? Or strictly business?" When Draco was younger he always thought Ruth was spooky when she would slip into her business voice, the one that said she would take no shit and if you wanted to cause trouble you could take it elsewhere. However, now he was appreciative of it, so he also put on a serious voice. "It depends on what your thoughts are of what I have to offer."

Ruth heard the words left unspoken, 'if you don't want any of it then could you recommend someplace else I could go to?' "very well, can you show me here or do you need a private room?" "I can show you it here, however, I have hundreds of things. So it may get crowded." Ruth's eyes widened in shock. She knew he had been gone a year, and she also knew he had been in a Door the whole time, so the things he had were most definitely not what she sold, however, she was very interested in seeing all he had gotten.

"Very well, follow me." Draco nodded his thanks and followed Ruth into the back, and although he knew his mother had seen him walking with her to the door next to the room she kept her enchanted clothes, otherwise known as the inspection room, he didn't say anything, only nodding at her as he passed. His mother stopped what she was doing and stood up, however before she could move Ruth called out to her. "Don't worry dear, we are just looking at some fabric your son has brought me." Draco's mother looked between the two before settling on Draco.

"No worries ma, just wanted to show her something I found in the Door." The mention of the Door had his mother slowly nodding before going back to work, however, she continued looking up at the two backs until they vanished behind the closing door. "I would usually have Frank stand-in on these types of consultations, however seeing as I see you as family and I doubt you would try to threaten me, I'm going to forgo Frank this one time."

Draco let out a small laugh "I have no intentions of threatening you." Ruth smiled. "Perfect, now show me this 'horde' of "gear" you have." Ruth was curious as to how he was planning on getting supposedly hundreds of clothes into this room, seeing as she noticed he didn't have a storage ring, nor any other noticeable items that storage spaces were normally made into. She figured he had forgotten his ring so her eyes nearly bugged out of her head when he produced five different pieces of Gear from seemingly nowhere.

"H-how di… never mind, let me have a look at these." Ruth picked up what she guessed was a leather tunic. She started feeling around it, "these seams are very well done, from a crafter that has done this many times." She continued to talk about it before she set it down and walked to the door, sticking her head out she called for someone. She walked back in and behind her walked a younger man. "As you are no doubt aware, this man's name is Gram, he inspects our clothing, is that okay with you?"

Draco nodded and Gram instantly went to work examining the tunic Ruth handed him. "Definitely from a Door, the work is done by skilled hands. Has an enchantment," the man continued mumbling to himself as he inspected it, while he did that Ruth continued her examination of the other tunics, deciding to leave the metal armor alone until the end. "Done, so it looks to be E-rank. The original mana signature that is weaved into this cloth is from a Door. and it does have an enchantment, however, I'm not an appraiser so I don't have a clue about any of them.''

Ruth looked up and nodded at the man, before motioning for him to continue looking at the other tunics. "So, unfortunately, I'm not interested in buying leather clothing, however, if you want I can point you in the direction of a shop owner that would be willing to buy them. However, I'd advise you to get an appraiser to come with you. You can get more money for the items if they know the enchantment." Draco nodded. "Perfect, oh yeah I don't know if you can use this but I figured mages wouldn't want it."

Draco took out the half-destroyed mage's robe and handed it over to her, she ran an eye over the cloth, and a smile formed on her lips. "Gram, quickly check this out, see if this holds any enchantments or can we use the fabric." Gram instantly stopped inspecting the second to last tunic and started looking at the robe. After a minute he spoke. "So it's a very low D-rank mage robe, however, due to its extensive damage the enchantment has been broken, that's why at the edge of where it's broken there are burns." Ruth smiled again, "Perfect, I'll buy it if you're willing to sell it."

Draco could see the gleam of excitement in her eyes. "How much would my three pairs of clothes cost?" Ruth knew he was talking about the clothes she had given him for free. "Those clothes were a gift from me, there's no need t-" Draco put a hand up interrupting her. "I was in a Door for a year, I have enough money to pay for them, and I want to repay your kindness."
