Sleep Paralysis

My mom has had sleep paralysis before and that freaked her out a bit, but the last sleep paralysis she had was the reason we live with her parents. When my mother was 26 years old, she was living in California attending the University of UC Davis. She had been studying to be a musician. She lived in a small house with only a few houses surrounding it. She didn't have friends or even a boyfriend and preferred to live alone with no distractions. One day she was in class and overheard that there was a party and that several bands were going to play that night. She didn't like going out, but since my mother loves music she decided to check it out. That night she and all the others partied as if it was the last night of their lives. People were dancing, singing, fighting, and getting wasted. My mother was one of those people who got wasted. After several hours of partying she had gone home. It took her several minutes to get home and once she was inside she went to bed and slept. That night however she woke up and felt weird. She realized that she was having sleep paralysis because she was unable to move. Something wasn't right, she felt strange as if something was watching her. She darted her eyes everywhere along the room hoping to figure out what was wrong. Her eyes stopped at the door. The door was wide open and she watched as the door began to close itself and from behind emerged a dark figure. She wanted to scream, she wanted to run, she wanted to cry, but she could only watch as the figure moved closer. She began to breath heavily as the figure was in front of her bed. Soon it was on the bed putting its face close to her. She closed her eyes praying for it to leave and hoping that she could snap out her sleep paralysis. But she had panicked to much that she passed out. She doesn't remember what happened but remembered waking up in the morning and being able to move again. As days passed she was feeling very ill and didn't know why. Then she told me something that freaks her and me. She said when she went to the doctor, they found out that she was pregnant and that nine months later, I came into the world.
