First Official Game Pt.2

*BEEP* came the sound of the whistle.

The crowd cheered at the start of the game. Yowaimo, taking a deep breath, took a step forward, bouncing the ball from his right to left hand. Spinning it on his palm, he tossed it up and immediately smacked it right in the middle, giving the ball no spin. It was a jump float serve, the volleyball version of soccer's knuckleball.

It seemed like it was heading towards school b's OH, so he took a step back and steadied his stance and prepared to receive. Unfortunately, the ball dropped early as it went over the net. Making the OH freeze but the libero ran and went for the dig but it was too late.

THUD came the sound of the volleyball bouncing against the floor and it rolled towards the libero.

"Welp that was tragic" The referee thought as he blew his whistle to signify team vongola winning a point.

"Yowaimo nice one"

"Nice ace"

The team briefly huddled up congratulating Yowaimo's no touch ace.

"YAAAHHH" Yowaimo was obviously pumped from his first point ever. It startled the team but it no doubt lessened the tension of setting the pace of the game.

Walking back to the service line, he grabbed the ball and pointed to the other side. Putting team B on alert, they all looked towards their OH as he gulped.

BEEP*

Yowaimo slowed down this time and aimed for a longer ball,

BAM*

Team B's OH thought the ball would head towards the same position so he stepped forward, to his dismay, it headed right at his face. Trying to protect his face, he quickly put his guard up and surprisingly got the ball in the air.

"CARROT" a member of team B yelled.

Their libero appearing to be Carrot swiftly ran to the ball and bumped it high in the air to the setter.

Getting an ooh from the crowd, it gave the setter time to adjust and quickly think of the best route to take.

Deciding to spike the ball to Ham Baga, our OH panicked trying to set the ball to the Setter. It led to an error in his passing and it went backwards to Yowaimo, who then set it to Orochi who had gotten set. With a good pass, Orochi whipped the ball with his snake-like hands and it headed to the libero once again. The libero could only hope to receive it and managed to get a hand on it, taking it to the sky. The setter quickly got under it and their OH along with their opposite set up their approach. The setter decided on his OH "Kyrie" and sent it to him, filling him with glee and the OH delivered. Hitting the ball he went with a line shot against his opposition and scored. The whistle came and " Boo ya" he yelled and left to his teammates' huddle. The ball was given to School B's server who was their defensive specialist. He moved to the service line and faced the referee, waiting for the whistle and the referee delivered.

Beep the whistle came. He gave a normal serve and the ball went towards team Vongola libero Patrick. He calmly received the ball and sent it to da setta Furai. Furai then set the ball to Orochi as a second chance. Orochi once more whipped the ball and this time their DS failed to receive it.

Turning around he muttered cute boys??. Shaking his head, he joined the huddle.

"Nice kill" Furai complimented.

"Hmm" Orochi nodded.

It was Po's turn to serve and he went with the underhand type.

'Tai Lung? Why did I think of that'

Running back into the court, he got into a defensive position and watched it go straight to the setter. Thinking he had a nice serve, the setter proved him wrong and set it to their opposite, Legume. Legume smashed it towards Po and Po was not ready to receive but he somehow got his tummy to do it for him. The ball swooshed back to Legume. Now in all of Legume's life, he had never seen such atrocity and was speechless the ball was coming for him. Helpless he could only watch the ball smack him in the face. Fortunately for him it went to Carrot who bumped it to their middle blocker Eggnos. Eggnos was lanky and used his long arms to smash the ball down to score a point for his team.
