Ch 6 First Touch Pt.2

Quickly turning around on his heel into a squatting position, he spread his feet a little wider than his shoulder width, arms in front of his knees, stretched to their original length. 'BAM'

The ball bounced 2 feet in the air from his arms, successfully killing its momentum.

Catching the ball, he smiled, apparently satisfied with the result from his movements.

Finally waking up from his thoughts, he looked up to see a pin drop silence that filled the court, all staring at him.

" Um, here. You can have this back."

Throwing the ball a few feet in front of him, he swung his arms from the front to the back fluidly, the image of an eagle's wing flickering. His 3 step approach, the epitome of perfection with his arms behind his figure and core low. He jumped, bringing his left arm outstretched like the scope of a sniper and his right pulled back like an arrow waiting to be unleashed and so it was. It extended to hit the ball and his small body dazzled the eyes of his audience.

'SMACK'

His hand made contact with the ball, sending it flying right into the outside hitter's hands.

'THUD'.

His feet made contact with the waxed floor and he walked right out. Everyone's gaze shifted from the fading silhouette to the ball in the startled OH because of the intense gazes directed at him. At that moment, Daniel didn't know he was made an idol in the hearts of the many aspiring volleyball players and the target of the coaches who watched the whole ordeal.

'ACHOO' 'ACHOO'

"Huh, did I get a cold? No, someone must be talking about my handsome looks" The narcissist thought smugly.

'Hey, you're the one who created me'. Not getting any reply, he shrugged and walked away.

"Daniel, are you okay and how did you do that?" Approaching with her mouth in an 'o' shape.

"Dunno, I guess I'm built like that."

COACH POV

"Now that was impressive" Stroking his beard, he looked at his colleagues. "Do we have his file?"

"Okay stop this crap, first why are you making this seem like we're secret agents and you're acting like you did better than him at his age"

*Cough Cough*

"Amanda, would it kill you to-"

"Nope, not one bit"

"You didn't let me fin-"

"You guys need to stop this dramatic love story, we're tired of feeling like third wheels"

"Hmm" "Hmm" Hmm". The others nodded in agreement.

"You guys-" Liam was a bit speechless. How was it his fault? 'Go find your own person then, eh you can't? tsk'

"Oi, you definitely thought of some mean things huh?"

"Ahem, I think we should focus on the matter at hand right now" Liam sweatdropped and skillfully changed the topic.

"This isn't over, still we can contact him or his parents."

"Yea, I think reaching his parents would be better" Amanda commented all the while pulling up his details on the computer.

"Well then, who's doing it?"

In an instant the whole room was filled with pin drop silence. Their gazes all shifted toward Liam except the man himself.

"Oh, come on."
