6 The Second Awakening

For the next few years Vaughn have been living with Sir Sigmund as the legitimate heir of house Dracovich. Emblems of their house, the 'White Dragon' can be seen placed everywhere inside the estate. A lineage of knights destined for destruction foresee new hope with the addition of Vaughn. The children originally only carry singular name with no last names. Adoption into these noble houses changes that fact. He was now known as Vaughn von Dracovich, only child of Sir Sigmund and heir to House Dracovich.

His daily activities were packed with assorted learning activities cleverly paced to maximize educating him and yet keeping stress level at bay. From horseback riding lessons in the morning, to classical literature, etiquette lessons, not forgetting sword-fighting as how could one be part of a knight's household if they are unable to use swords? Vaughn managed to pick up very quickly and even out performed his peers in some of these lessons.

He grew up to be a very attractive young man, comparable to the top supermodels of the world. On top of his dazzling looks, Sigmund was really shocked when he had the boy take an IQ test which came to around 160, definition of a peerless genius. When the boy turned fourteen, another surprising event occurred. He obtained the ability to glimpse into future, also known as foresight.

Sigmund originally considered it as absurd and illogical, however after countless trials and experimentation Vaughn's prediction was 100% accurate. Despite being skeptical, he had to accept reality when he saw such accuracy. He called this Vaughn's second awakening. After his second awakening, Vaughn looked ever more devilishly handsome and was made to take another IQ test. This time the result was a shocking 240!

By this time, Vaughn have basically learnt everything he could from his instructors and in fact he was even better than most of all of them at their own craft. Sigmund was so happy that he believed that it's time for him to start succeeding house Dracovich. Under the temporary leadership of Vaughn House Dracovich flourished greatly. His foresight made it such that their house was able to advert various potential losses from unprofitable deals while gaining absolute profit from various financial instruments. The advantage made it such that it is impossible for house Dracovich to suffer from any losses from being able to foresee market trends and etc. The next two years of succession training proved fruitful as Vaughn managed to almost double their assets. He was finally ready to take-up the mantle.

Sir Sigmund wrote in to the council of nobles applying for Vaughn to be his named heir. A few days later, a team of medical professionals came with two high ranking officers as witness of DNA extraction for paternity verification. Before any heir can be officiated as heir, paternity or maternity test are required to verify their birthrights. DNA samples were taken from both Sir Sigmund and Vaughn under the scrutiny of those two officers before it was properly sealed for fraud prevention. It would take another week or two before results are out.
