CH.7:

Third POV:

Kanami and Ryu sat in the middle. The classroom was similar to how a college lecture hall would look, and the seats were higher the more you climbed up. Yuuta smiled and wrote something on the chalkboard; he wrote Mana manipulation on the board.

"Does anyone have an idea what this means"?

Kanami raised his hand.

"What does it mean," Yuuta asked.

"Mana Manipulation, when you can change the form of your mana," he said.

"Correct; today, we'll be heading to the training grounds so I can show you guys a full demonstration; by the way, my name is Yuuta Nagatomi, and please do keep up," he said.

After walking to the field...

Yuuta held out his hands. Mana rose around him. Suddenly Ryu thought of Kanami.

"If Kanami were to try that, his mana would be completely off the charts," he thought.

"The first step to this is mana control. Kanami, could you demonstrate," Yuuta said.

"Are you sure," Kanami asked.

"Oh shit," Ryu thought.

"Yeah," Yuuta said.

"Please don't blame me for what happened then."

"Everyone behind me, now, Yuuta make your barrier," Ryu shouted.

Yuuta and Ryu put up a magic barrier.

"What the hell Ryu? Is the kid that strong," Yuuta thought.

Kanami held his hand, and his mana poured out, creating a massive aura around his tiny body. Suddenly Yuuta and the other students became scared.

"That's enough, Kanami," Yuuta said while fearing for his life.

Kanami stopped. Both Yuuta and Ryu dropped their barriers.

"Are you all okay," Kanami asked.

"Were you holding back"?

"Yes."

"Such a powerful aura from a five-year-old little boy," Everyone except Ryu thought.

Suddenly a roar was heard. A dragon was flying over the capital.

"A dragon," Yuuta said.

"Woah, it's pretty," Kanami shouted.

"Huh" everyone shouted.

Kanami grew his wings and flew up to the dragon. Kanami smiled as he looked at him.

"KANAMI", Ryu yelled.

He flew in front of the dragon. The dragon saw him.

"Wow, a dragon," Kanami said.

The dragon tried to hit Kanami with his fire breath, and Kanami dodged it and became confused.

"Do you not want to play, Mr. Dragon"?

The dragon roared as it began trying to attack him. Kanami felt sad.

"Strengthening, Ability, Agility," Kanami chanted.

Kanami held out his hand.

"Thunderbolt," he chanted.

It did not affect the dragon; the dragon's hide was too solid.

"Then."

"Lightning crash," Kanami chanted.

Suddenly lightning came crashing down on the dragon. The dragon took full effect from the intermediate spell. However, the dragon could still attack.

"Lightning javelin," Kanami chanted.

Suddenly spears of lighting pierced the dragon.

"Kanami's able to take down an S-class Dragon type," Ryu thought.

"Gods might," Kanami chanted as a hand made out of holy light came crashing on the dragon. The dragon finally began falling, but Kanami lifted his hands.

"Levitation," Kanami said while catching the dragon.

While flying back to the training grounds, he laid the dragon on the floor.

"Kanami" Ryu shouted.

"Big brother Ryu."

"You were able to beat it"?

"Yeah, I wanted to talk with it, although it didn't seem like it wanted to talk."

"How are you just speaking normally when this kid killed an S-class Dragon" Yuuta shouted.

Kanami blinked in confusion.

"Well, it's just a dragon, and if I hadn't killed it, more people would have risked their lives to defeat it," Kanami said.

"Be that as it may, kid, that was dangerous even if you know intermediate and top-grade magic."

"He's right, you know, Kanami. I felt my heart drop just watching you fly up there without any plan of attack; what if you weren't able to defeat it" Ryu asked while grabbing his shoulders.

"I'm sorry, Ryu," Kanami said while beginning to cry.

Ryu suddenly felt guilty.

"I'm sorry, so stop crying, Kanami," Ryu said while hugging him.

Suddenly someone jumped from a building and landed in the middle of the training ground. It was Kakeru. Ryu let go of Kanami and turned towards him.

"Jeez, lay off the kid, man. He can't help it that he's strong", Kakeru said.

"You were watching, and you didn't think you should have intervened, Mr. Adult S-rank Adventurer," Ryu shouted as he grabbed his collar.

"Yeah, if the kid were in trouble, I would have helped him. But he took out that dragon like it was no problem. So there wasn't any reason for me to step in".

"Kakeru," Kanami said with a smile.

"Wait, is that Kakeru Setagawa", Tamaki shouted.

His other classmate's eyes widened. Suddenly they surrounded him.

"Kakeru Setagawa, will you please make me your apprentice" Tamaki shouted.

Others began shouting that as well.

" Apprentice, I mean, if I take all of you, it would be like taking a class away from a teacher," Kakeru said.

"Heh, then Mr. Kakeru, how about you help me explain Mana Manipulation to them," Yuuta asked with a smile.

"You bastard, how can you talk so informally with Ryu," Yuuta thought.

" Hey, I was only supposed to be watching Kanami from afar, though."

He began scratching the back of his head. Then Kanami grabbed his hand.

"Kakeru isn't going to teach our class," Kanami asked.

Suddenly Kanami was pouting. Kakeru panicked on the inside.

"Fine, alright, I'll teach you guys, but your teacher will also learn. Also, Kanami, please stop using your cuteness", Kakeru said.

Kanami smiled and began jumping around after letting go of his hand.

"Yay, Kakeru is going to teach us," Kanami said.

Ryu began laughing. Kakeru saw Ryu smiling, his face slightly blushing.

"Ryu is pretty cute," Kakeru said.

"Hey, I'm not cute," Ryu shouted while glaring at him.

" Yes, you are; you're too cute," both Yuuta and Kakeru shouted.

Then Yuuta and Kakeru glared at each other.

"You two, you both are perverts," Ryu said as he hid behind Kanami.

"That's not fair using that ball of energy as protection," Kakeru said.

"Ball of energy," Kanami said cutely while tilting his head to the side.

After the magic lesson was over...

"Well, that's it for today," Kakeru said.

Everyone except, Kanami, Kakeru, Ryu, and Yuuta were lying on the ground. They were all breathing heavily. Kanami walked over to his classmates and raised both of his hands.

"Transfer," he chanted.

Suddenly mana poured out from him and into his tired classmates. His classmates regained their stamina. Kanami smiled as he saw that everyone was moving around again.

"Kanakana," Manami shouted as she got up and hugged him.

"Manami"?

"Thank you for being gifted with looks and magic," She said.

"Hey, Manami, are you seriously a pedophile," Tamaki asked.

"No, I'm not; it's just having someone so young around me gives

me happiness and joy, considering my brother is a complete meathead," she said.

"Why you," Tamaki said as he got angry.
