Maddie cleared her throat and stood in the doorway, making eye contact, saying, "Hi, Lucas! What brings you here so late?" Maddie tried to act calm and not suspicious, luckily Lucas didn't pay too much attention because his attention was on Castelia who was out of nowhere.

"I wonder if it's possible that Castelia is at home?" Lucas asked curiously, sneaking a glance behind Maddie to look but he saw no one but the empty living room. Lucas came straight here after leaving the restaurant and Castelia had already left with Joshua earlier, therefore he rushed here with the intention of speaking to Castelia.

"Ah, Castelia?!" Maddie was silent for a moment, contemplating what kind of excuse she should come up with. "That… Castelia just left!" Maddie's lie was exactly what came to mind. Maddie said whatever it was in the hope that Lucas would leave soon. "Uhm… you want to meet her? Maybe you should just call her ahaha…"
