About Us

No. Castelia didn't dare believe those adorable words. Joshua knew her plans with Maddie and Melody from the start but instead behaved like a rat in a trap. He was acting very sweet but instead turned to trap her. Isn't that sad?

'I slept with him to frame him but he did it to catch me instead.' The thought made Castelia feel much worse than she could bear, thinking that her feelings had been toyed with.

"Why are you angry?" asked Joshua who assessed the look on Castelia's face, his voice managed to pull Castelia's consciousness back. "Shouldn't you be glad I made it easy for you?"

Joshua's tone was condescending, causing Castelia to look away to avoid eye contact. She clenched her fists tightly. However, whether Castelia was angry or sad, Castelia just didn't think she was such a stupid woman, her fear and pleasure made her realize nothing.

Castelia revealed, "I felt awful for Maddie because I thought I had betrayed her. I thought we'd be in trouble because I threw away the memory card and got nothing for Melody. I did it for you but you make me feel stupid." Castelia looked Joshua straight in the eye before asking, "What if I am not what you think I am? What if that day I gave the memory card to Melody? You never thought that I would do it?"

Joshua smirked at Castelia's seriousness at talking about things she knew he couldn't. "I told you you wouldn't do—"

"But what if I did?"

"You won't." Joshua's confidence hurt Castelia's pride, it was as if he knew that Castelia was still in his grasp, completely.

"You mean." Castelia wasn't sure that she wanted to talk to Joshua any further. "You tricked me like an idiot. You are so cruel."

Castelia walked away without hesitation until Joshua said, "Aren't you the one who tried to trick me like an idiot?" Castelia stopped walking before she could touch the door of the room. Joshua sat on the edge of the black table before adding, "You want to set me up for something I never did, you want to make me sleep with you and let my wife flaunt the tape in public for money and you call me cruel?"

Castelia was silent by the fact Joshua had mentioned aloud. It's hard to admit but Joshua is right that Castelia wasn't a victim either.

Satisfied in silence, Joshua said, "You saved me by not letting Melody get the memory card and I helped you and your friends by paying Melody many times what you got on your behalf. I think we're equal."

"You are right," Castelia admits that Joshua is right and she is wrong here, she should not have been persuaded by Maddie from the start and ended up falling into Joshua's trap. "You're right, we're paid off. I hope we have no further business and will never see each other again."

"You can?" Again Joshua's voice stopped Castelia from leaving the room. Joshua got up from his seat and went to Castelia to touch her hand. Joshua looked at her before saying, "You wouldn't run out of nowhere straight at me when I said I wanted to meet you if you could."

Joshua was right that Castelia couldn't, even Castelia couldn't keep herself mad at Joshua for just two extra minutes. "I never cheated or played behind my wife," Joshua said. He touched Castelia's cheek before adding, "I did it the second day I met you."

Castelia hesitantly replied, "That's because you want to toy me."

"I wouldn't have done it if that day was your friend who came to me," said the man.

"You didn't really do it because you like me," Castelia whispered as she pulled her face away from Joshua's hands, showing disappointment.

"I did it because it was you." Joshua doesn't admit he likes Castelia but his words still sound sweet and never fail to make Castelia's heart flutter. Whether he was telling the truth or a lie, Castelia didn't even want to doubt it. "You're still beautiful, just like the last day we met." He said it while touching Castelia's strands, tucking the fine hair behind her ear and touching her face more.

Castelia stared in silence, not thinking that Joshua would mention the last time they met. Does the man still remember her?

"Four years ago…" Joshua was a little too close, the air he gave off made Castelia nervous, making her eyes didn't stop staring in all directions because of anxiety. Castelia swallowed slowly but her face turned red with embarrassment.

Joshua reached behind Castelia's ear, closing the door behind her with a slight push until there was a click. Castelia looked up for a moment before accidentally making eye contact. Joshua said, "From now on if you want Melody to get what she wants, you must let your friends know about us."

Castelia's suddenly sluggish brain couldn't understand the meaning of Joshua's sentence. Did he mean to keep their relationship? Castelia didn't have time to ask because Joshua had just pulled her chin and brought their lips together.

He grabbed Castelia's waist and brought her body closer.

"Cas! Castelia!"

"Hah?" Castelia blinked, realizing she was lost in thought after somehow propping her chin up. It took her a moment to analyze her surroundings until she realized she was still in the dining room with Maddie sitting across from her.

"Didn't you hear me?" Maddie asked in wonder.

"Sorry, I seem to have been daydreaming," Castelia replied regretfully. Castelia couldn't even remember how she got lost in the middle of a conversation with Maddie. "So, what did you say earlier?" she asked.

"I said we'd forget about Melody and find another client. I promise last night will be the last time you see Joshua, okay?" Maddie repeated her sentence slowly so that Castelia wouldn't miss a word.

Castelia didn't seem happy to hear that, though she didn't show any disapproval. Castelia didn't say anything and nodded as if agreeing with Maddie's words. Castelia couldn't admit that she would be with Joshua a lot from last night. Whether the secret relationship will last long or not, Castelia still wants to do it without anyone knowing, even though it is Maddie, her best friend.

"I'm sorry for getting mad at you without knowing anything, Cas," Maddie said apologetically. She spread her arms to hug Castelia before adding, "I don't want to fight with you. I'm sorry."

"I don't want to fight either, Maddie," Castelia replied as she hugged her friend and gently stroked her back. "I'm sorry for making you worry too."

Maddie closed her eyes as she leaned her face on Castelia's shoulder, she nodded in response to Castelia's apology. However, Castelia had another apology she couldn't say.

'Sorry that I lied to you again, Maddie.'
