Initiative

Dia was caught off guard from the sudden turn of events. Her wide eyes seemed to double in size as Jayce flew towards her like a bat out of hell. She quickly raised her thin rapier in hopes of stopping the fierce attack that he sent her way.

Jayce however had the initiative. He was able to put forth all of his strength paired with his dark purple sword, not holding back his rampaging Qi in the least.

"Heaven Sundering Slash!"

Jayce called out the name of his technique out of habit. His trusty sword glowed with power, absorbing a large amount of Qi from his meridians as it seemingly increased in size and weight within his hands.

Dia stifled a scream as she saw the sword slashing down at her. She wasn't sure if she was hallucinating as the image of a large dragon suddenly manifested within the Qi surrounding the sword.

It was as if she was being assaulted by an Ancient Dragon who had decided to end her existence.
