Grim Reaper

He removed the specs and searched for Podd. He was preparing a cake. "Who are you? I mean..you are not human? You are a grim reaper?" Gavin asked. Podd laughed. "What was there to surprise? I told you before. Right?" Podd asked. "I thought it was all an imaginary story," Gavin replied. "Then why do you care now?" Podd wondered. "It's because I wore specs and felt some supernatural power. And I didn't see where that girl went. I mean the girl named Kitty. I feel some energy here which I never experienced before. So that's why I started to believe the nonsense. Now tell me. Are you really a Grim reaper?" Gavin raised all his doubts. Podd nodded with an evil smile and said yes.

The next day:-

Gavin suddenly woke up from his bed and thought it might be a dream. He wanted to confirm that. So he returned to the restaurant building. He saw Kitty washing utensils. He walked towards her and asked about Pod. She replied that he went to do his job. "Job? What job?" he asked. "Yesterday he told you, right? He went to collect the soul." she replied. "So that wasn't a dream." he told himself and sat on a chair. "Do you know where he is?" he enquired. She nodded saying no.

Afternoon:-

Someone walked towards Gavin and said that his uncle was dead in an accident. When he reached there he met Pod. "Why are you here? So that was true. You came here to collect my uncle's soul?" Gavin asked him. But Pod didn't reply.
