CH - 3 New Powers

Raghav walked out of the store slowly holding a bag full of alcohol. He wore a creepy smile on his face which sent a chill to anyone who saw it. The reason of his smile was that he was about to trade with Thor. Trade with a GOD!

He thought about a few things before trading that could potentially happen. What if the bag just disappeared into the air? So many people will notice him if that happened. So he went to a safe place. That place was where a big dustbin was placed with several garbage bags around it. It was a small opening between two buildings. It was an Alley.

He took out his new smartphone and opened the app. Surprisingly, all the Gods from different religions were getting along. The chat already had 100+ messages. Raghav without taking any more time informed Thor about the goods and asked him for the trade.

Raghav: "@Thor I have the goods. Are you ready for the trade?"

Thor: "HECK YEAH!"

Sun Wukong: "@Raghav are you selling drugs or what?"

Thor: "I don't care, hurry @Raghav, Give me the mortal booze!"

Suddenly, a pop-up covered the screen of the smartphone. The pop-up blurred every thing else and was shining in golden colour.

[@Thor has asked @Raghav for a trade, Do you accept?]

[Yes/No]

Raghav without a doubt pressed 'Yes'. The app asked for a picture of the item being traded, so he placed the bags on the ground and took a picture from the front camera of the smartphone.

*Click*

*Flash*

After the click the bag of bottles disappeared from his hand and appeared on the trading channel as the picture that he clicked.

The trading channel covered the center of the screen and had two picture slots in it. Inside one slot, there was a picture that Raghav took and on the other was the picture of Gold blocks, gold bricks and other things made of gold.

The first slot, which had the picture of Alcohol bottles and cigarettes had a green frame while the other picture had a red frame which turned to green in just a second.

This gave a rough idea to him on how the trading channel worked. It worked on a simple system. Both sides should be willing to trade and press 'Yes' to confirm the trade.

After both the slots had green frame, another screen popped-up indicating the trade was successful. This screen could be seen by everyone as the trade was public and not private.

[Trade successful.]

[Received tons of gold. ]

[ Converting into money ]

[ $72,000 received. ]

[ Received Blessings of Thunder and

lightning (info +) ]

Thor: "That's my gift Boy! Enjoy!"

Raghav couldn't believe his eyes. He was sure he got something powerful as he could feel the power inside him. And the money he got is also crazy, he became a millionaire in just a few minutes. He wanted to check the powers he received and so he clicked on the information icon.

[ Blessings of Thunder and lightning ] -

You are blessed by Thunder and lightning. It won't harm you in any way.

You will get strengthened whenever you are in contact with Thunder.

You gain a certain control over Electricity.

Raghav was showing a creepy smile after he got to know about his POWERS! He can now control Electricity and is immune to it. And with the addition of his newly gained power, he is officially a part of the supernatural, if that exists in his world.

Yama: "@Raghav do remember that even if you have power, you have to use them carefully."

Sun Wukong: "Yes, with big powers, comes big responsibilities."

Athena: "And arrogance and ignorance. Can't forget that, you monkey."

Wukong: "Shut up you stupid idiotic goddess."

Athena: "You dare to call me, goddess of wisdom and warfare, daughter of Godking Zeus, an idotic goddess? Do you even know the consequences of your words?"

Wukong: "I don't care about the consequences. I'll just eradicate all your army like wooosh."

Athena: "Youuuuu!"

Yama: "I apologise to intervene in your... conversation but can we invite more members here? I would love to invite a few of my friends here."

Raghav: "let me check...Yes, we can. There is an option in the settings called 'Random Invite' and I pressed it."

Thor: "So we will have new members soon. Good. I hope there will be very strong members who I can fight with!"

Seeing this Raghav confirmed one thing in his mind. Thor is a Lunatic who carves to fight.

Athena: "By the way @Raghav, you are a part of the supernatural in your world. What are you going to do next?"

Raghav: "I am not even sure if anything like that exists in my world. Are there other people who are like me?"

Yama: "Yes there are, at least in my world. But I am not sure about your world."

Raghav: "Alright, I would love to see what my world has. Guess I have to explore more."

Yama: "Yes, but please do not misuse your powers. It will only harm innocent and increase your bad karma."

Athena: "@Raghav you should go and see how your powers work. If you can't even use it, it'll just be a waste."

Raghav: "Yeah, thanks."

Raghav then closed the chat group. He was still in the alley and no one else than him was there. He was eager to test his new ability and so, he extended his right hand forward and stared at it. He chanted a spell to summon thunder.

Raghav: "Abra Kadabra!"

Raghav (Co): "Heed my call, Bestow me power, Thunder!!!"

When nothing happened, he go embarrassed but as there was no one there, he quickly recovered.

He waited a few minutes just to be embarrassed. Nothing happened even after he chanted several different spells that he heard in anime and novels. What made him more embarrassed was a cat who was staring at him. Though the cat was just looking at him because he was shouting, he felt that the cat was looking at him with a smug look on its face.

Raghav: "Oi! I will show you what I can do, just you wait!"

He forced his brain to think of a way and remembered something that he saw is alot of different anime. He remembered that in one of the anime, the Main character talked about how "one should focus of the energy itself to control it."

So taking that as an example, he started to focus on his hands and trying to push the so called 'energy' into the palm of hands. After a few seconds, he thought of the structure, the color and the power of it. He imagined Lightning sparks as it's structure, Yellow for the color and he didn't really thought about it's power.

Soon enough his hand started emitting yellow lightning sparks. Those sparks were at least 2,500 volts, which is very dangerous for a human being but he didn't knew about it as he didn't knew about the voltage of it. Even though the lighting Sparks were very dangerous, it didn't even hurt him. Instead it strengthened him a bit. It was like both lightning and Raghav were a part of each other.

He slowly opened his eyes only to see his hand emitting yellow lightning sparks. To say he was fascinated by this will be an understatement. He knew what could this power of him can do and he didn't need truck-kun's help to gain this ability.

He roared in joy, looking at the cat.

Raghav: "YOU SEE THIS KATTY? I WILL BE INVINCIBLE!!"

Soon after, when the adrenaline inside him was stabilized, he calmed down. He wanted to search for any thugs he could beat right now to test his power. For the first time in his life, he felt powerful so of course he wanted to show it off.

Raghav have both money and power now.

He knew that the chat group had more options so he should check it. He opened the chat group and searched for more functions and he found one. There was a new option at the bottom left corner of the screen. Q

[ Quest - You will go to a random mythological universe and you will be given a task to do. You can go to any time and you will be given two Random skills. One skill will be related to the quest while the other skill will be random. While in a different world, the time in your world will stop. ]

Raghav was even more excited. He could enjoy his time fully when he is doing quests without worrying about his world.

He was excited when a thought came to his mind. His family was the believer in the Sanatan religion and this religion, anyone can get boons as long as they do penance for a God. What's more, is that he had a sanatani God in the Chat. He should at least try to get a boon.

Raghav: 'I am not greedy but one should do experiments, no?'

He then quickly opened the chat group. The group was very active, maybe the gods were talking about some Godly stuff?

Anyway, he has the perfect way to get a blessing. It is just by saying 'Pranipat'. This word is the greeting of ancient times. If you are a young person and say 'Pranipat' to an older person, the older should give you a blessing like 'Be blessed' 'live long' etc. But people of the ancient times weren't as bad as the current people so even thier blessings affected, only in a small scale though.

How would that help Raghav? Well, the blessing of gods matters, and that too Sanatani Gods who are known to give a lot of blessings, boons, and curses. So it was obvious what he will do next.

Raghav: "Pranipat @Yama."

Yama: "Live a long and healthy life son."

King Yama said this out of his habbit but didn't realize that how it will affect Raghav.

Sun Wukong: "He is your son? You had a child in a different universe?"

Yama: "No Wukong, it is a way of saying."

[Received the blessings of Yama, the God of Death and Dharma ]

Yama - "I see what you did there @Raghav. You are very cunning and smart"

King Yama was surprised that Raghav played a trick to gain his blessing but he didn't really mind it as he was the one who blessed him.

Raghav - "Are you not angry?"

Yama - "No, I am not as it was me who blessed you. But still, you did show your intelligence."

Athena - "Yes, you did use your mind and for that, you received the reward."

Athena also saw the message of the blessing as it was highlighted will golden colors in the chat.

Sun Wukong - "By the way, you could also get a curse if you are not careful, just saying."

Raghav had chills after seeing Wukong's message. He knew how badly a curse can affect him as he knows about several stories about how people got cursed because of being greedy or how a blessing turned into a curse because of ignorance.

[ Urgent Quest - Save Radha ]

Radha is the goddess of love and the lover and devotee of Krishna, the avatar of lord Vishnu.

Due to the blessings of Mahakaali, goddess of time and death, two snake Asur (Demons) gained the blessings that they will be immortal till they bite anyone. And the one they bite will die but the snake brothers will lose their immortality. Kans (the antagonist) planned to kill Radha so the that the power of Krishna could be weakened. One snake died as he bit Radha but Krishna took the form of achhuta and saved her. Now he needs help so he can save Radha from the other snake.

Raghav knew this story but he was very sure that there was only one snake demon named Ekdans but somehow there are two now. He made his theories about the topic to get to know more about it. Anyway, he clicked on 'Yes' as he would get to meet one of his favorite Gods, Krishna.
