6 chapter 6:The slowing of time

Everything seemed to slow down day by day. Making it really hard for Bre to concentrate on how her life should go, especially since being in her new found relationship with her boyfriend Brent. Though she tried to ignore the things around her, like when the wind started to russsle the leaves of the tree causing them to fall slowly to the ground. Or when the scruffy squirrel starts to search the ground going slower each and every day looking for one nut to eat. But little did she know that the Jabberwakkie's team was searching for her in this heated hunt for survival of their crew...

Bre's point of view:

" Hey Brent?" she asked her loving companion that always walked right beside her.

" Yeah?" he returned.

" Have you ever noticed how things.... around us started to slow down?"

" No not really. Why do you ask?" he returned questionly.

" Its nothing really. "

" How would it be nothing when theres something up." he asked curiously.

" Well everything seems to be kind of slowing down..." I say looking down sheepishly.

Brent just looks at her with a questioningly look before his features softend. While he gently takes her small plush face into his large rough hands gestering his love for her . " Baby there's nothing to be bashful about....." he sighs before continuing. " I'm  here for you and nothing will ever get in the way for us... even if the world seems like it's  slowing down into unbearable speeds. "

" But what if.... "  was all she could say before his lips collided with her. kissing her gently and softly trying to relay his feelings for her. He let's go of her after a while.

"But what if what.... you know that I would never let you go. You know that I will always be here to protect you in any type of circumstance. "

" Yeah I know that, but it still seems like somethings the matter with things around here. "

"yeah you may be right about that babe, but there's nothing wrong with you. " was all that he could say before the both of them slowed to unbearable speeds.

"And back to the Jabberwakkie's "

"Second sir everything things going according to plan sir. " the blueish cat person (Bob) said with a flick of his tail and a twitch of his cutie kitty ears.

" Good... " the blonde man said with a short sigh while a quick smirk began to form rather quickly into his face. "Now all we have to do is make sure everything runs smoothly."

" Yes, sir" they all cluttered together.
