Chapter 15: Emergency Contact
GREY'S POV
"I'm looking for Dr. Ingram," Grey said in a rush as soon as he reached the nurses' station at the hospital.
Before the nurse could speak, a voice piped up from behind him.
"Mr. Devlin? I'm Dr. Ingram."
Grey turned, shaking the doctor's hand hastily. He immediately registering the worried, etched lines on the doctor's brow.
"Thank you for coming so quickly."
"What the hell is going on? Where's Reese?"
"Follow me, please."
Dr. Ingram led Grey down a corridor, through a set of double doors, and into a small, empty waiting room.
"Mrs. Montgomery was admitted to the ER with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head."
Grey's heart sank into his stomach. "She tried to commit suicide?"
"It would appear that way."
"How is she?"
