After Fang Xiaoxi entered the company, Shen Tong followed suit. After reporting in, Shen Tong met her immediate supervisor, Manager Wang. Actually, Shen Tong had already met him during her interview.

"Shen Tong, the artist you'll be responsible for this time is Chen Xiaoyong. This was arranged by the general manager." Manager Wang was increasingly unable to understand General Manager Xia's decisions. Clearly, Shen Tong was given a special exception to be hired, yet she was assigned to the most difficult artist, Chen Xiaoyong.

Chen Xiaoyong—this name was well-known to Shen Tong even before meeting the person. Fang Xiaoxi had suffered a lot while working with Chen Xiaoyong. Now, this challenging task was passed on to Shen Tong.

Her expression stiffened but quickly turned into one of understanding. "I understand. I really have to thank the general manager for giving me such a challenging opportunity. From now on, I'll need Manager Wang's guidance and help."

"No worries, No worries! Let me take you to see Chen Xiaoyong." Manager Wang, seeing Shen Tong's expression, assumed she was already aware of the assignment. If her relationship with the general manager was special, it was wise not to offend her.

"Great, thank you, Manager Wang! From now on, I'll be following your lead!" Shen Tong said with a flattering smile. After all, having a good relationship with her supervisor could only be beneficial.

"Hahaha, you're too kind!" Manager Wang, a seasoned individual, quickly led Shen Tong to find Chen Xiaoyong.

Despite hearing about her for so many days, Shen Tong only knew the name Chen Xiaoyong. When she first laid eyes on Chen Xiaoyong, she found her at least attractive on the outside.

With long wavy hair, a charming face, and somewhat heavy makeup, Chen Xiaoyong was sitting in the makeup room wearing a low-cut dress. Sexy, yes, but a bit too revealing. Chen Xiaoyong seemed to be proud of it though. Seeing Manager Wang bringing in a girl, she immediately said, "Is this my new assistant?"

"Yes, she is. If you need anything, she'll assist you from now on," Manager Wang said to Shen Tong.

"Why change assistants so suddenly? Manager Wang, do you know why?" Chen Xiaoyong's voice was also charming and pleasant.

"I don't know. It's the general manager's decision, how could I speculate on it? Miss Shen was hired after a thorough interview process and is fully capable of replacing the previous assistant," Manager Wang said.

Chen Xiaoyong then noticed her new assistant for the first time. Other than her height, there didn't seem to be any notable qualities. Seeing this, Chen Xiaoyong showed a hint of disdain.

"In that case, I won't keep you any longer, Manager Wang."

"Alright, I'll be leaving now."

After Manager Wang left, Chen Xiaoyong's face immediately turned sour. "Why are you just standing there? As an assistant, shouldn't you introduce yourself?"

"Hello, Miss Chen. My name is Shen Tong! I'll be your assistant from now on, mainly responsible for various tasks. Since I'm new to this, please bear with me if I make any mistakes!" Shen Tong said with a bright smile.

"Alright, come over and brush my hair," Chen Xiaoyong said, not really caring about Shen Tong's introduction.

In the makeup room, there were other celebrities, but none of them looked in their direction. Clearly, Chen Xiaoyong wasn't very popular and didn't garner much attention.

Shen Tong obediently walked over to brush Chen Xiaoyong's hair.

"Ouch..." Chen Xiaoyong glared at Shen Tong, her long eyebrows twisted in anger.

Shen Tong quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, did I hurt you?"

"If you know, then be careful! Hurry up, I have to go to an audition later. If I miss it, can you afford to pay for it?!" Chen Xiaoyong said, looking at Shen Tong disdainfully. This plainly dressed girl seemed like someone who didn't belong here.

Shen Tong quickly nodded, "Okay, I'll be done soon."

Although she said she would be quick, her hands couldn't move faster. If she hurt Chen Xiaoyong again, she would be even angrier. Finally, after brushing Chen Xiaoyong's hair, Chen Xiaoyong spoke again, "Go get me a cup of coffee. And hurry up!"

"Alright, please wait a moment." Shen Tong didn't dare delay. Although Chen Xiaoyong was a third-rate star, the rumors said she was harder to deal with than big-name stars.

Under Chen Xiaoyong's gaze, Shen Tong trotted out of the makeup room. She quickly called Fang Xiaoxi, and thankfully, Fang Xiaoxi answered promptly.

"Hello, Xiaoxi!" Shen Tong's voice was urgent.

"What's wrong, Tongtong? I just started work, you having any problems?" Fang Xiaoxi asked.

"Long story short, I'm now Chen Xiaoyong's assistant! Manager Wang introduced me to her, and she asked me to get her a coffee. You know her preferences best, right?" Shen Tong had already calmed down from the shock of becoming Chen Xiaoyong's assistant.

A person like Chen Xiaoyong must be very picky. If she was dissatisfied on the first day, the future would be even harder. Despite this, Fang Xiaoxi struggled to digest the news: "Oh my God! Chen Xiaoyong's favorite is Starbucks coffee, remember, Cappuccino with two packets of sugar."

"Starbucks, got it." Shen Tong quickly took note of Fang Xiaoxi's words.

"Yes. There's a Starbucks nearby. Just ask around, and you'll find it!" Fang Xiaoxi had many questions for Shen Tong but refrained from asking now. Clearly, it wasn't the right time.

Shen Tong hung up and quickly ran out of the company. Starbucks was a trendy place, and Shen Tong's plain attire made her stand out awkwardly.

"Cappuccino, two packets of sugar," Shen Tong succinctly ordered.

Within ten minutes, Shen Tong had completed the task. When Chen Xiaoyong saw her return, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes. She took the coffee from Shen Tong and took a casual sip.

As the coffee touched her lips, Chen Xiaoyong lightly smacked them. Finally, Chen Xiaoyong looked up in surprise, as if seeing Shen Tong for the first time. "Not bad, well prepared."

"Thank you for the compliment, Miss Chen," Shen Tong said cautiously, finding Chen Xiaoyong's gaze peculiar.

Chen Xiaoyong then smiled, "Do you know I hate gossip? If I catch you at it, the consequences will be severe!"

Chen Xiaoyong's eyes turned sharply intimidating. Shen Tong's eyes were clear, "Miss Chen, I'm now your assistant. Everything I do is to serve you better."

"As long as you understand. Now, arrange for a car; I need to go to the company for an audition," Chen Xiaoyong's tone returned to calm.

"Alright, I'll arrange it immediately." Shen Tong said, starting to call the driver assigned by the company for Chen Xiaoyong.

Soon, Shen Tong helped Chen Xiaoyong into a car, and they quickly arrived at the film company.
