Chapter 40 Leaving A Friend Behind
This day has just gone from exciting to downright scary. I have never in my life lost so much control; I never knew I am capable of so much rage. There is blood on my hands; it is making me sick to my stomach. I am feeling so many different emotions, and none of them are good. My body and mind are falling apart; I am near the brink of collapsing.
"I am going to run you a bath."
"No, it's too hot; just rinse me in the pool."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, but can I speak to Tyler first.
Without answering, Luke takes my phone and dials Tyler's number, but he speaks to him first, "Hey, gorgeous."
"Thanks for the compliment."
"Where is Jenna?"
"Next to me."
"What the fuck have you done to her?"
"Don't get so excited; I am just dialing the number for her."
"Why can't she do it herself?"
"She is too shaken up."
"What have you done to her, Luke?"
