The blogger's reply this time was not only contradictory, but it also left the readers dumbfounded: "The guy is too handsome, more so than many male stars. With a man so good-looking, I certainly would not want to divorce him; it must have been the man who initiated the divorce. Isn't that the definition of a jerk?"
Then a large number of viewers jumped out, trying to figure out who the face of this jerk is, and more importantly, how handsome he actually is.
At this point, Lin Zhou could not help but feel both bemused and terrified. If the truth were to come out, the resulting turbulence was unimaginable.
This involves the Boss's personal affairs, which are quite embarrassing issues that he preferred to keep under wraps. It would be inappropriate to involve the company's Public Relations Department.
It looked like he could only rely on outside connections. He made several hurried phone calls, then logged back into some blog, ensuring that the hot search and news had been taken down. As for the divorce and marriage certificates, there was no need to worry. Having considered the special status of the two people earlier, he had made a trip to the Civil Affairs Bureau on his way from Zhou Family's residence and luckily salvaged the two devastated papers just in time from the cleaning lady.
Going home to rest was now out of the question. With great reluctance, he got out of the car and went back to the office.
Inside the CEO's office, Zhou Sinian had been maintaining the same posture since his return to the office. He seemed lost in thought until Lin Zhou, his assistant knocked and came in. "Why are you back?" Zhou Sinian managed to return his eyes to their usual calm expression. Only he knew that this calmness was superficial, and his heart was in turmoil.
Assistant Lin came back to report on work. He gave an overview of the matters on the blog, leaving out the embarrassing details and his handling methods. After his report, he quietly awaited the next command.
Zhou Sinian never could have imagined that the Civil Affairs Bureau incident would make it to the hot searches. Despite his surprise, he nodded in approval, "You handled this well. Moving forward, make sure this doesn't escalate."
"Yes, CEO."
"Hmm, you can leave now. You've had a hard day." Assistant Lin's disembarkment this time went rather smoothly, devoid of any unexpected events.
The CEO's office once again regained its tranquility.
Zhou Sinian's thoughts could not help drifting back to a certain woman. Her unusual actions this time made him wonder if she had been waiting for this day, or maybe she had a new target? That would explain her impatience.
The thought of being cuckolded made Zhou Sinian's face darken even more.
His already frustrated mood worsened further.
