The pallid ray of the afternoon sun was doleful and gnarling.
Inside the operating room.
"I suggest you relax" The doctor chided with a raspy voice. May was feeling overwrought by the pointy needle. She was blank and scared, her eyes said it all. But still, she did as the doctor told her.
The woman rolled her eyes "Young ladies nowadays......"
May parted her legs and sweats cladded her face when the doctor was about to thrust that needle in. She impulsively shut her eyes and expected the pain but just as the doctor had pushed the needle, the door kicked open!!!.
Nonplussed.
Puddles of tears began streaming from her eyes. When did she start crying? Why? Was it because of the fear of the needle or THAT MAN!!! A wave of terror enveloped her. Her skin had turned damp and pallid.
"What is this?" The doctor opened her mouth to speak but looking at the hellish and scathing eyes, she squinted from the angry man to the patient. Her eyes flew wide open in shock and shuddered.
'She was married'
Out of fear, she escaped from the room. It was only the two in the sickening room.
May kept sobbing. She had touched her belly and cried even more.
The man's impenetrable eyes and inscrutable countenance showed he was overpowered with anger and rage. But right now as the woman was sobbing, his heart tightened from the fear surging in. He thought the baby was gone, that he was too late.
"T...the baby, he is alive...right?" May gazed at him, her eyes, unshadowed, broken, were unmoving on his. Looking at her unruffled countenance, his face turned austere. He clenched his hands into a fist and punch the wall beside him.
May, overpowered by an intense sentiment of horror, leapt up.
"You!!! You didn't spare my child!" His grey-blue eyes glared at her "You could have spared my...CHILD!!" His tone was deadly and dangerous.
May writhed.
She was still wondering how he found out. Wasn't he suppose to return the next day?
Hearing no reply from the woman infuriated Alex the more. He had quickly hailed the plane and got back to the country as fast as possible but unfortunately, he had been late or that's what he thought.
"You Imp! I am your husband...and you had no right to touch my child" His eyes glinted painfully. May rubbed the tears off her face and tried to speak but the man interrupted her.
"Just shut the fuck up, how can you be her? She cannot be so cruel...you are a fake. I made a mistake" He punched the wall once again.
May flinched and yelled "I...i...didn't"
She lowered her head and those tears came streaming down once more. Her heart was scared and racing rapidly.
"What do you mean? My child is alive? H...he is alive"
May was in a realm of confusion. She murmured "I would have if you hadn't bashed in... I would have killed the sin in me if she hadn't shown up"
"Just shut up!!!" His eyes were darkened. He felt disgusted by the woman. She was planning to kill an heir of the Su family.
Angered "Why did you return? You ruined everything...how did you know I was here? Who told you? I hate you!!!"
Alex pretended not to hear her words, he took her purse and carried her on his shoulders.
"You!!! Let me go...drop me down" Amidst her quarrels, the man smacked her butt causing her to gasp.
"You should be happy my child is still alive otherwise........"
Otherwise what? He also didn't know.
Could he bear the thought of her getting hurt? Even if his child had died, he wouldn't hurt her, that was his greatest weakness. All of his previous plans to surprise her got ruined. He hadn't seen her face properly....but that can be done in their marital home.
You are my legal wife and as long as you have that title, you belong to me...me alone. Our child will be a trump card. Call it selfish...I work like that.
The bodyguards lowered their heads as their boss came out of the hospital.
With one cold command "Take this place down"
He intimidatingly stuffed the woman into the passenger seat and briskly entered the driver's seat.
