REALM OF PLEASURE AND FOG (2)

When the car pulled up to the Su residence, May pressed a hand on her rapidly beating chest that was refusing to cool. She didn't want to think of anything, that's when she remembered something and gasped "Oh my God, I forgot to buy a gift"

Alex looked at the shaken woman and frowned "There's no need for that"

May jolted "Yes I dislike you but I still have a reputation to preserve...Mr Alexander. At least when the future comes that I am not with this child, I hope your parent will love him" She said casually "I want a good future where I wouldn't be in it for my child ok...I know how it feels to be lonely and unloved" She muttered. Alex tightened his grip on the wheel. 

'Not with our child in the future, in your dreams' he thought.

"Forget it...they hate presents and the child is mine, not theirs. He will get only the love of his biological parents. JUST HIS PARENTS" Alex stated. He was tired of arguing with the woman. For someone like him, it was easy to lose his patience and this ungrateful specie was making him lose his rationality.

"But...." May wanted to speak but the man glared at her.

"I heard they were coming back home after three years...you missed them, right?" She inquisitively asked or whereas buying time to calm her heart down. For all she knew, she wasn't in a good relationship with anyone in that family. Now two more people already joined the league. They must have badmouthed her and ruined her name in front of them. 

Alex blankly went to space as he thought of his parents. How should he describe them? They did take care of him, loved him, and nurtured him but what he hated was that they gave him too much attention. That attention made him who he was now. Being blind in the first place was all their fault. He despised them to the bones.

"A...Alex, I am scared...i...I don't feel like going anymore" Her soft voice broke him out of his reverie. He smiled "A woman like you? Scared?"

May pouted her lips and harrumphed "I expected nothing from you" she cried.

"As I said, you are my property, not anyone's. My parents don't have a right to you ok...just treat them like they never existed. That's the best" His sharp words got May speechless. Who spoke of their parents like that? He was this brute to them too. She closed her eyes for a few seconds, collected her thoughts and sighed.

"You are a bad son" She roared and opened the door, retreating from it. Alex looked at her and smiled.

'Stubborn but still soft-hearted just like his mo..... No!!!l Like no one else' He fisted his hands and left the car as well. May hissed when she saw he had come out of the car. 

"Come here wifey...don't go crazy" He reminded her and tilted his head to get a clear view of her reaction. Nowadays, he had a new hobby which was teasing her.

May's ears perked up and she shot him a cold glare "I could create a scene for all I care but I am still intact for my reputation"

"Then show them we are real couples?" He attacked. May frowned and snapped her fingers at him "You...you...God!!!"

"Oh you two are here already....come in" The cheerful voice of Suzy made the two stop their argument.

May forced a smile on her face.

"It'd be better you'd not smile at all than showing that fake smile...they are terrifying" May swallowed air and breathed it out to calm her raging heart. 

"Wifey, come here"

May had it with him and ran towards him. For the first time in her life, Suzy witnessed an unbelievable scene. May had jumped on the man and dragged on his new shaved hair, ruining it.

"Mr Alexander, just shut up...I am trying to keep my reputation here...stop daring me already" She yelled at him. Alex never expected such an attack but he didn't yield from it. Though he felt pain from her drags, his manly side took the better of him. He just let her do what she wanted. He saw the young girl by the doorstep freeze on the spot.

"I warned you...don't test me...my reputation, I never joke with my reputation" She screamed in a high-pitched tone and threw her heels off as she continued jumping on him.

Meanwhile, the family who was having a peaceful dinner heard the noise from outside. Butler Feng went out to check the cause and to his surprise, he saw May attacking the second master. He briskly went back to the house and explained what happened.

 Oh NO!!! May's reputation was about to go down the drain.

Alex bent his arm to stop her but her sanity had been driven hard. Unaware of the discrete stares at her, May continued with her assault. Eyes trained on her every move and breath held in astonishment.

Isabella trailed her eyes to the animosity sight "Is that......?" Her voice trailed.

Elder Su churned "That's your beautiful daughter-in-law"

"She is still...." Gloria shut up immediately after getting a signal from her grandfather.

"Hubby, look at our son over there...he isn't doing anything to stop her. Do you think he has finally accepted a woman in his life? B..but he is blind...how would he...that lady is....she is .....hubby, what do you think?" She stopped talking when she felt a chill crawl up her spine. She looked around and saw her son glaring at her.

When she was exhausted, she stopped and quietly got down from his back. Her slender back faces the entire family without her knowledge.

Alex chuckled and teased "What if I told you, your reputation has been tainted already" 

May glared at him "You are so annoying" she touched her chest and puffed out a cough. Her bare feet were touching the cold floor. Alex frowned and squatted down with one knee up, the second down.

"Always think of yourself first," He said, his eyes soft, totally forgetting her previous attack. 

"DON'T TOUCH ME!!!" She withdrew her cold feet and turned round and.....*THUD*

Her dark crescent orbs dilated in shock.

'They were here?'
