HIS CHARMING GREY-BLUE EYES

On the dining table. 

What used to be lively became so placid. May lowered her head to her plate as she felt eyes on her. It's not like she wanted to stay there but the Old Man's declaration had stopped her.

Opposite her was the blind man. Though he could not see who she was, he felt her presence irk him. Tired, he dropped his chopsticks and stood up.

"I lost my appetite"

The others on the table felt like they were filled after he stood up. But the Old Man glimpsed at him at once before waving his hand "You are of no use to me here, anyway. I just need my dearest granddaughter-in-law" He was sitting beside her, so he parted May's hair.

The hair on her back stood up high when the Man touched her hair. 

Alex grabbed his cane from his side and loured "I won't marry some girl you brought from the street. Someone you don't know about, not her life or her family, and that is final" He scurried off.

"Stupid grandson hit your head on the wall, you will still marry her" The Old Man's tone was so thick that the people on the table could not help but flinch. Expected, the Old Man's mocking words made him stop.

This was how this family was. When the Old Man declares a word, they must all follow except for the younger master who was thick-headed.

His remarkable beauty most especially his charming grey-blue eyes made ladies want to be his partner. But behind this cold and melancholy man was a yearning heart. Here, his Old Man was telling him to marry some stranger. Krist warned him he was up to no good.

"And you!" May flinched when she heard his rough tone "Don't even dare think about marrying me"

May looked at his grey-blue eyes and sighed.

How can someone as charming as him be blind? He was not compared to her brother Xavier. Though her brother Xavier was handsome in his own way, she just felt that the man was a true beauty. He was pleasing to the eyes. She felt she had seen those eyes somewhere before but couldn't reflect.

"It's not like I want to marry you self...what's the fuss about?" She sulked. By her side, the old man clearly heard her, his eyes glistened as he was more satisfied with her. He chuckled lightly.

Thinking his grandfather was making fun of him, he stabbed the cane once more to the floor and left.

His sister looked at his retreating back, then to the woman beside her grandfather. Her first impression of the woman was that she was cute. Being the only granddaughter, she always felt lonely. All her cousins were men. Now that there was another woman in the house, she was very glad. 

She would try to befriend her.
