Defective Useless Second Son!

Oh Dan-Bi was sheeting in anger. She could not believe her son was in danger due to some stupid sasaeng fans for the last few days. When she made the head maid of the house call her son Lee Yong's driver, she found out the sasaeng fans had been behind him for the last three days. But that was not the worse news for her.

She became blindly furious at her second son, Lee Whan, for not informing her or warning Lee Yong as soon as he found out about the sasaeng fans. Dan-Bi firmly believed that her second son was a problem and useless due to his concerns about being a man, which he masks under some stupid high-profile lingo and sexuality.

She never tried to understand the big words the struggling young man tried to simplify and explain. All she believed was he had issues with his body, and medical attention would solve it.

Even when she called for the famous and successful doctors to treat him, he refused like an ungrateful brat. Since that day, she stopped caring for him. She knew her actions were purposeful, and they hurt her son. But Dan-Bi believed he would agree to the treatment to get back close to her, he would agree to the treatment.

All her plans backfired, and her second son drifted further apart. He never agreed to the treatment and accepted her cold shoulder with a small smile.

The more her second son behaved willfully, the more she became disappointed with him. Somehow something that started as a small plan ended up creating an irrevocable distance between them.

The only happiness she experienced at the time was her first son's success and always making time for her even though he was too busy.

But Dan-Bi could not imagine Lee Whan would ignore the potential harm toward his elder brother at a crucial moment.

She grew angrier with Lee Yong as the news blew out of proportion by the media. The only one who was making her proud was Lee Yong, and she could not let anything or anyone hurt him.

Not even her 'defective' useless second son!

Lee Yong enjoyed playing poker with his band members after their plans for the day were cut short all of a sudden due to the security breach. The sasaeng fans entered the make-up room and tried to take pictures of Lee Yong unexpectedly. They were very invasive and wanted to touch him.

Thankfully his bandmates informed their manager faster, and the issue was wrapped up soon. He and his bandmates were securely escorted outside, and the photoshoot got postponed faster without any issues.

The company makes yogurt milk, and it was a successful product. Irrespective of the company's high reputation, they were very cooperative and even apologetic as the security breach happened on their premises. The company employees looked terrified to report to their boss as if they would be skinned alive if the news got out.

But Lee Yong did not care much about it. Only when they were in the car, on the way back to his apartment, he did find that sasaeng fans had been stalking him for the last three days.

If his manager did not inform him, he would have never known. But the manager looked at him weirdly when he found out the information and looked at him as if he should have known it already.

Even though the manager had lots of work, he ended up staying in the apartment with his artists as he did not want them to be at a disadvantage. Lee Yong's personal apartment has top-notch security that no one would be able to enter unless they were listed as a visitor or they had the one-time entry password given by the resident. Even then, everyone was at the edge as if the sasaeng fan might jump out any moment.

The sudden ringing of the calling bell really startled everyone, and they stopped playing the game. Against his manager's advice, Lee Yong decided to check who was outside the door, and the small screen showed his little brother's tired face.

Lee Yong was puzzled at his younger brother, who dropped by his apartment unannounced. But he still opened the door and let his brother in. Lee Whan did not say anything as he walked in with his personal secretary, Mr Koh, following behind very politely.

Suddenly Lee Yong remembered his mother mentioning Lee Whan going for a business trip to Busan yesterday. His mother seemed very upset and even told him about her argument with his little brother. But Lee Yong brushed it off as his mother threw a simple tantrum.

From his observation, Lee Yong was sure his little brother came to visit him right after returning from the business trip and came here directly to the apartment after landing. He felt bad for his brother running around for the business alone, which lasted for a minute until his brother opened his mouth.

"Oh! You guys are together and playing. Sorry for coming over unannounced." Lee Whan apologised to his elder brother's band members politely.

"Such a fake asshole!" Lee Yong did not hide his displeasure and spoke the words a little too loudly for everyone to hear.

Every single soul in the room was uncomfortable with the brother's interaction, and they could clearly notice Lee Whan getting annoyed but still refrained with a small smile.

Lee Yong knew his brother was anything but polite. But his brother stopped being himself and started wearing the mask of a man who was polite, considerate and a respectful person.

Initially, the change in his little brother started to get on his nerve, and he never realised that he missed his little brother being himself.

"Can I speak to you?" Lee Whan spoke politely to Lee Yong but still refused to call the other Hyung.

The only time Lee Whan uses the term 'Hyung' for Lee Yong was always during the exchange of texts. While they interacted, it always came with no form of addressing, even though his words were respectful and appropriate for the elders.

Lee Yong rolled his eyes, sat on the sofa where he was seated earlier, and picked up his cards to continue the game. "You are doing it already!"
