Klaus In Mystic Falls: A First Date.

It was morning, and Stefan fell asleep leaning against a tree, he yawned as he woke up. And stretched his arms.

He remembered Caroline.

"CAROLINE!" He yelled, as he stepped into the woods again.

He couldn't find her.

After several hours of looking, he went back to the town, and he saw her in the house. Her house.

He knocked on the door.

"Stefan?!" She exclaimed loudly. "I….Me….I killed, I am.....A.....I am a….me!?"

She didn't know how to say it.

"It's okay….Caroline." He told her, "I know...I was there, you turned into a wolf."

He came inside.

"Help me!?" She whispered.

"I already called Klaus!"

"Klaus?"

She jumped,

"He is the only wolf vampire I know…"

"No…..Why did you call Klaus?" She complained. "He'll be like 'go out with me….I enjoy you', 'your light is amazing…'"

She told him.

"Boo hoo, Caroline!" Stefan laughed, "The oldest deadliest vampire turns to a goofy lovebird around you...And that's a big problem!"

She smiled,

"And maybe, let him…..It'll be good for you." She looked surprised, "Really…."

She smiled for a brief second.

"I'm scared, Stefan…" She told him, "I am a lot scared."

"I know…" Stefan hugged her, "I know….But I can't help you, but I called for help."

She sighed softly.

"Thank you, Stefan." She whispered.

Caroline Forbes was in her house, when the bell rang, she opened the door,

"Klaus Mikaelson!" She smiled.

It was odd, she didn't feel scared to see him. He was different. But she was as well.

"Hello, Love!" He had a one sided smile. "Can I come in?"

"Sure!"

She smiled, and got out of the way as he came inside.

"So, Stefan Salvatore calls in the middle of the night and says you need my help!" He told her.

"Oh…...Stefan's delusional!" She waved her hands over her head, and laughed. "I don't need help….I am fine!"

"He seemed upset….Or so Elijah tells me," Klaus told her, "I didn't pick up the phone."

"I made my first kill yesterday." She told him.

"Wait, what?" Klaus jumped from the couch. "You have been a vampire for….." He thought back. Seven years….

"Seven years." She told Klaus, "I couldn't even hold myself for a decade."

"Caroline…!" He held her hand, took her towards the armchair, and pushed her in it. "Most vampires kill thousands of humans in the first year."

She shook her head, she didn't believe it.

"I promise you, Caroline…." Klaus told her, "There is no vampire who hasn't killed…...and you are one who hasn't killed at all."

"One…"

"One has no significance on a vampire line." Klaus told her.

"It matters to me." Caroline told him, "I killed."

"I don't know what to tell you…."

"But that's not what Stefan was worried about!" Caroline interrupted him.

"What was it?" He asked.

"When I killed that grad student…" She bit her thumb, "I…"

He looked at her, she stuttered, she looked at her hands.

"Caroline?" He was a little agitated. What was wrong!??!. "Look at me, love….What happened?"

"I turned into a wolf."

"What?" Klaus stood up, "You...uh, You….Became…..a....."

He stuttered,

"Is that so bad?" She asked.

Worried.

He was worrying her now, she had felt fine before, but he was getting worked up, and it was Klaus.

"No…" Klaus sat back down, "Just a little unbelievable."

"I don't have to turn again, do I?" She asked.

"Not if you don't want to." He was deep in thought.

"What happened?" She asked. "Is something wrong?"

She snapped her fingers in front of Klaus,

"You are freaking me out, Klaus!"

"No…" Klaus sat up, straighter, "It's just when I was coming here, I didn't expect this."

"What did you expect?"

"Honestly, anything in the world other than you telling me that you turned into an unsired hybrid!"

She smiled.

Caroline Forbes spent the next few days with Klaus Mikaelson. He taught her the perks of being a hybrid.

He showed her how she could use her wolf powers,

"This isn't that difficult!" Caroline told him. "I figured out most of the vampirism by myself."

"Really?" Klaus asked, his eyebrows raised.

"Yes….I was in the hospital, and Katherine killed me…."

"Katerina Petrova?"

"Yes." Caroline shook her head, "But I learned how to compel even before I was dismissed from the hospital."

"Impressive!" He told her, "Very….impressive, actually."

She smiled.

"Thank you."

They were quiet for a few minutes, they were in Mystic Falls woods, and just started to come out.

"Can I ask you something, Caroline?" Klaus said he was a little behind Caroline, Caroline had a small stick in her hand, she was waving it around.

"Yes…" She turned around, looking at him.

"Can we have dinner tomorrow?" He asked.

"Klaus, we have been having breakfast, lunch and dinner together for the past two days." Caroline raised her eyebrows. "Because...There were apparently no rooms available in the hotel."

She said,

"No…." Klaus had a one sided smile on his face. "Like a real date, Caroline. Not just giving me food, because I am staying with you."

"Why did it take so long to ask you?" She asked, "I mean you have been here for like five days now!"

"Because, I am going tomorrow." He told her, "I had to take another chance."

She was silent for another second. She turned away, and started walking ahead. He caught up with her.

"Yes." She smiled.

"Yes…...what?"

"Yes, I will go out with you." She told him.

"I'll pick you up at seven, tomorrow."

"Why not tonight?" Caroline asked.

"It's not going to some crappy date, love…" He laughed, "I'll make some arrangements."

"Really?" Caroline laughed, "A not crappy date, what is a good date, Klaus?"

"You'll see." Klaus said vaguely.

Caroline smiled.

"Okay…..But it better not be something crazy!" She told him.

"It won't be crazy!" Klaus told her, "Because it'll be super crazy!"

Caroline shook her head softly.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow." She told Klaus, as she walked quickly out of the woods, she had a fundraiser to attend....organize.

"Seven o'clock, tomorrow!" Klaus shouted behind her. "Be ready, love…."

"Okay!!" She smiled.

Klaus looked at Caroline's hair dancing behind her back. Long, blonde, flowy and curly. It was as if they were teasing him.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Caroline Forbes." He whispered to himself, because Caroline was gone.
