There were many pros and cons to choosing a Sovereign or adventurer.

If one chooses to become a leader then they will be given a quest. If you are able to complete the quest then, you will be rewarded a village token according to your grade but If a person fails the quest then he or she will automatically become an adventurer. Unlike a Sovereign, if you choose to become an adventurer you will automatically become an adventurer and by choosing adventurer you can be freed from many task and responsibilities and if you are lucky, you may be able to find hidden quest unlike Sovereigns who have to constantly maintain their territory and some Sovereign can't even leave their own territory due to loads of work and responsibilities. So, many people prefer to become adventurer who is much freer but becoming a Sovereign will give you a authority to command NPCs which is irresistible offer and even if you failed the quest you will still become an adventurer but becoming a sovereign wasn't quite easy and the quest was difficult too so many people chose Sovereign only to fail the quest.
