{RIKU POV}
Following behind the group of adventurers that almost got destroyed by a single argument, Riku couldn't help but feel impressed at what he had seen so far from Shizu. Despite the occasional missteps and stuttering, his companion held herself rather well against total strangers whose abilities they didn't even know yet. There was a sense of pride in him at seeing her being this analytical, and his initial assessment of her being a sponge of potential was paying off in spades. Truly, the woman before him was a once in a generational talent... and she just threw her life away to read tarots somewhere in the US.
Then again, he supposed that life had its way with playing with people. Still, at least she was putting her abilities to good use now. And speaking of her...
"Something on your mind, I see," Riku suddenly told her after noticing that she was in her thinking face again.
