39 Unexpected.

(Menchi POV)

After I arrived, I saw Vergo fighting against a hulking monster that was called Franklin. Vergo was standing on the sky while Franklin was on the floor while he used his right hand as a cannon and his left hand as pistols to fire bullets at Vergo 'So, Vergo's Nen ability is flight?' I asked myself.

Then I looked at their bodies to see if Vergo needed any help in taking down the monster. Vergo had some bullet wounds on his skin while Franklin had some swelling on him and what it looked like a dislocated shoulder. But the annoying part is that Franklin is completely unfazzed by it.

Looking around, I saw that there were many golden objects and some money flying around.

"Hey! You two are destroying most of the treasures, couldn't you fight at another place?" I asked while I felt a little angry at how could they do this, after all, money is important.

"Oh, Menchi." He seemed surprised to see me. "Grab the treasure and get out of here. I will deal with this annoying guy." Vergo said while he made a stance.

"Are you sure that you don't need a hand?" I asked, unsure if a child like him could fight someone like Franklin.

"Nope. Franklin is my opponent. And I hate it when people get in my way while I'm fighting." He smiled while dodging a few of Franklin's bullets.

"Huff. Kids and their pride." I shaked my head before using my ability to levitate most of the remaining treasures.

While I cannot affect her opponents directly, I can do simple things to non-Nen objects, like lifting or transporting them. Inside my area, I am the Chef, anything that I consider ingredients move as I want. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on living beings or Nen objects but it works pretty well with boxes of treasures, I can lift and throw them.

"Where do you think you're taking our treasures?" Franklin asked me while pointed his wrist at me. "Nen Cannon." But when he was getting ready to fire, Vergo appeared by his side and kicked him in the face, sending him flying back.

"Big guy, I am your opponent." He said before resting his staff on his neck and cracking his neck. "If you don't pay attention, I will end up killing you." He warned him.

After getting up from the ground, Franklin asked. "Kill me? I would like to see if you can." Then, he fired a huge cannon blast in Vergo's direction.

But, Vergo dodged it by hopping on the air before he increased his speed and got near Franklin in no time at all. Then, he used used his finger to quickly hit Franklin in the gut, making a wound similar to a bullet, making the big monster spit out some blood.

'This is quite entertaining to watch. But... is this all his Sub-Nen abilities?... if this boy grows up, he will become a monster. No, he already is a monster.' I was really surprised and curious as to how could a brat like him be this strong. 'Well, Oemitsu is also a monster so I shouldn't be this surprised, after all, that brat used his strings to get me even while my guard was still up. Scary kids. Whatever. Let's stop thinking about those kids and take the treasure.' I shaked my head before going through the front door, ignoring Franklin's complains

(Oemitsu POV)

'Hmm. How annoying. I have been playing cards with Hisoka for the past hour... and in this hour, there has not been a single time that I won. I lost every single time.' I took a deep breath before announcing. "I lost again."

He laughed. "Another one?"

Before I could answer him, I fell the whole building shake.

"The fight downstairs is getting pretty heated." I commented.

"Who do you think is going to win? The undying, Franklin or you right hand?" Hisoka asked while shuffling the cards.

"Vergo. Vergo is way stronger than he looks." I shrugged, preparing myself for another loss.

"Is that so?" He asked.

I nodded when suddenly, I felt my phone vibrate and looked at Hisoka. It seems that he could hear the vibration because his face turned serious... well, at least something close to that, after all, you can never guess what this lunatic is thinking.

Picking up the call, I immediately heard a distressed Kurapika complaining. {The plan went south.}

"What is wrong?" I asked.

{Well, Gon and Killua got captured and the Spiders are retreating to their hideout.} He said.

"Hmm. Is that so?" I said.

'I couldn't care less about the news, since I knew that those dumbs kids would get involved in this mess.' I rolled my eyes.

{Look. If anything happens to Gon or Killua, I will kill you. They are in this situation because of me.} He threatened me.

"Hold your horses. I will get Gon and Killua back... but for that to happen we need to bargain." I smiled.

{Bargain in what?} He asked.

"Well, I have been successful in capturing one of the Spiders..."

{Can we trade him or her for Gon and Killua?} He really did not wanted them to be harmed.

"No. She doesn't have much worth. The Spiders are willing to sacrifice one of their legs if it means that they will survive. And I don't plan on doing it, anyway. To make the bargain work, we need to get another hostage, someone with more worth." My smile kept widening.

{The Head?"}

"Bingo. We need to capture Chrollo." I suggested.

{There is no way that they will fall for another bait again, so how are we going to capture their Head?}

"Who said that they wouldn't fall for another bait? They will, as long as the bait is appetizing enough."

{Wait... you don't mean...}

"Yes, me. I will be the bait next time. They will know that it is a trap but they will have no choise but to go for it. They need to avenge their dead members that had their blood spilled by my hands. Their very own blood will demand vengeance and so will their pride."

{Going alone, againts all of the Spiders is suicide, you know that, right?}

"Perhaps. By the way, are you worrying about me? How cute. But I don't need to face all of the Spiders, I just need their leader. Anyways, I will get in touch after we have escaped, also, the next move will be the final one." I told him before I hung up. "Hisoka, I did not have my fill of card games but I have another places to be." I told him before I whistled really loudly.

This made a sound loud enough for everyone in the building to hear, then, I saw Vergo dashing through one of the windows and disappearing through the night.

"Good luck surviving." I told him.

At this moment, I saw Hisoka widening his eyes before I ran and jumped through the window while pressing a buttom. This button exploded the base of the building, making it collapse.

40 minutes later.

At this moment, I was in our hideout but apparently, Ponzu and Menchi were already there. The only person left was Vergo but he should be arriving in a while.

After entering in the building, I said. "We have accomplished quite a lot in one night." I looked at the table when the window made a sound and Vergo came in.

"Ehm. Am I late?" He asked.

"Nah. Right in time. By the way, did you kill Franklin?" I asked.

"No. His defense was way too high, if I wanted to kill him, I would need more time." He rested his staff on his shoulder.

"Its fine. In the entire night, we have managed to kill one of the Spiders, kidnapping another and also stole all of their treasures. Our entire warehouse (hideout) that we 'borrowed' from an owner that no longer required it, since he is dead, (he fell on one of my bullets), is completely filled with treasure. In the end, we have accomplished quite a lot, especially Ponzu and Menchi, who captured a member of Spiders without killing her, it must have been quite troublesome." I smiled when I saw Ponzu's worried face.

"No trouble at all. The only thing that I found troublesome was not being able to kill her." Menchi shrugged.

"I know how you feel. Now, where is she?" I asked.

Ponzu, in response, pointed to one of the boxes in form of a coffin. When I opened it, I saw a bloodied Shizuku. She was wearing only trouser, or what was left of it, and her breasts were free, without a bra. However, even if such good body was in front of me, it did not have any effect on me.

What affected me, was the condition of her wounds, Saying that she was in a terrible state is being nice.

"She resisted a lot more than I expected, don't blame me." Menchi raised her hands.

"Huff. Its ok. I will use Healing Magic on her, it should be able to keep her alive for a couple more days, however, we will need Machi's help. If we want to completely heal her, all the holes that Menchi's knives caused in her body, I cannot heal them. Well, I could however it would take a lot of magic and a lot of his time, something we don't have.

Machi's ability would not only sew everything back together, it would also revitalise her dead cells and stimulate the creation of new ones, for now, I will stop the bleeding, so she should still last for a couple more days. If she doesn't, then it means that she is not worthy of being in our family." I declared.

'While I really wanted her ability, since it would allow me to murder any opposition back in the Underworld and cover up all of my tracks, making it impossible to find out that I am the culprit of those crimes. Eating bodies, blood, and even erasing any signs that a battle occurred would be perfect for me to spread my jnfluence throughout the Underworld without being found.

She would be like a waste disposal, a perfect one.' I sighed before telling them. "Everyone, get some sleep. Tomorrow night, we will have quite an exciting night." I smiled.

"What about Nion, or whatever that girl's name was?" Menchi asked.

"Ahh. You mean Neon? Hmm. I almost forgot about her." I said before removing one of the floor tiles and seeing an unconscious girl in the floor, tied and gagged.

"Don't worry. I will give her first punishment. I even know how to start. When I think about this, I cannot help but laugh."
