Separating the Preys.

(Machi POV)

Me, together with the other Phantom Troupe members arrived in the Hotel Beitacle, the hotel where Joker wanted to meet us.

"There is the smell of blood all around this place." Feitan commented.

'The Joker has probably killed everyone in the building. Huff.

He has no mercy towards people who are in his way, even if they are innocent but... its not like I can talk, after all, the Phantom Troupe does the same thing. However, Joker commited a sin, and he is never going to be forgiven for it. He ended up killing 3 of our companions, kidnapped another one and helped to plot the death of the last. The Spider lost 5 members thanks to him.' I clenched my hand hard. 'I don't know if Shizuku is still alive, but knowing how stubborn and that she would rather die than betray us, I can't expect much. However, even after doing all this, I still can't see what is Joker's true objective. I just know that the only reason for him to go after the Phantom Troupe is for entertainment. Last time, I let him live because we were friends, however, he has left me no choise. I will make sure that this hotel will become your grave, Joker. Just you wait.' I swore.

As we were walking, we ended up entering in the main lobby of the hotel. There, there was a lot of big screens, but the biggest of the lit up. On the screen, there was a boy possessing short silver hair and silver eyes with a grin.

"Joker." I gritted my teeth. "He doesn't even hide his face anymore, meaning that he doesn't care if his face is known!" I could feel a few veins popping on my forehead.

"I'm pleased to know that you have followed my instructions like good little puppies and even brought Killua and Gon with you, I'm glad that you were trained to do simple tasks." Joker had a sneer on his face as he said that.

"It seems that you cares a lot for these kids, so I will kill them right in front of you." Feitan threatened him.

"Fufufufufufu. Oh, please, do so. The bloodshed in this hotel was not nearly enough to please me, so please, add more to the death count." Joker's sneer widened.

This made all of us become surprised because one of his conditions to meet us, was to bring those kids but now, he shows them 0 interest in them.

"It seems that you misunderstood me." He said. "Gon and Killua are just like you. Part of the game I prepared. If you kill them, I will simply kill Shizuku and leave. I have no reason to stay if you do not entertain me and choose to ruin the game. Remember, 4 of your precious members are dead, no matter what you do, they will not return. The only thing you can do for those poor souls is to avenge them by killing their killer, which is me. Besides, if Shizuku, Gon and Killua dies, they are just one number on the death count. Like that, before you even notice, the Spider will lose all of its limbs. So I give you a choice, limbsless Spider, you can kill Gon and Killua and get exterminated or you can play the game, like the good little puppies that you are, and some of you might survive. So please, choose wisely. Fufufufufufufu." He had an amused face.

Like this, the Phantom Troupe ended up splitting in two. One group possessing me, Pakunoda, Hisoka and Franklin, were in the group that wanted to save Shizuku by playing the game that the Joker wanted.

And the other, possessing Nobunaga, Feitan and Phinks, were in the group that wanted to Kill Gon and Killua, to force Joker to appear since he showed that he wanted to save those two.

"Huff. Everyone, it doesn't matter if we continue to babble about what we should do. Who has the final choise is the Boss." I said.

"As all of you know, I place the survival of the Spider as our biggest priority. So we are going to play his game. Besides, we still have to kill the Joker in the name of our fallen companions. As you he said, if we kill these two kids, we will lose him and we cannot let that happen. That is the reason that the kids have to live, at least for now, after we kill Joker, we can get rid of them." The Boss declared.

"Great choice. It is good that you could reach an agreement. Moving on. You see that there are three doors, one in the right, one in the left and one in front of you. The things is... only one of them leads to me. You have to figure out what door is the right and what is not. Oh, yeah. If you leave Gon and Killua behind, I'll steal them back and leave. It is simple. If you find me and manage to end my life, you win. If I release Gon and Killua, I win. It is the Wolf vs the Spider. I hope that you don't bore me." He said that before the screen turned black.

"God damnit!" I punched a wall nearby and made a hole in it.

'This kid has gotten so cocky after I left him! I really hoped that it wouldn't turn out to be like this. However, he gave me no choise, I will make sure that I will be the one that will end his life. It is the least I can do.' I looked at my hand.

"Hmm. Joker wants to split us up. This is so that he can kill us in groups, the same way he did before." Nobunaga analyzed.

"Even if we know this, we have no choise but to split and deal with the threats together." Feitan said.

"Machi and Pakunoda will stay behind since your abilities are not the strongest in direct battles." The Boss said.

"I want to be the one who kills Joker!" I tried to protest.

"Everyone wants to kill him. But the first one who find him will be the one who gets to kill him. Phinks and Franklin will go through the door on the left. Feitan will go through the door on the right. Me, Hisoka and Nobunaga will go through the door in the middle. Once one of you have identified the Joker, everyone will relocate to kill him. Killing the Joker is the highest priority." After the Boss said that, everyone dispersed and went throught their respective doors.

There is only one thing that we were certain. Joker would die on this night.

(Oemitsu POV)

I was watching when Chrollo made the decision and everyone went through each one of the doors. Vergo was standing right behind me, also watching the outcome of their decision. I could also hear the shower that was on the background.

"Fufufufu. They are willingly going to the traps like encaged rats. But it doesn't matter, the main objective of today is to lose anyways. But it is not like I'm going down without a bang.' I smiled.

"Are you sure that this is the wisest choise? Don't you think that it is too risky?" Vergo asked.

"Everything must go accordingly to my plan. I know every single one of his opponents, not only their abilities but also their personalities. Its like Sun Tzu said, If you know your enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. I might lose this battle but the war is mine." I declared.

'They are all dancing in my palms, like puppets.' I thought before I heard the sound of the shower stopping.

Then Menchi came out of it, with clean clothes. Unlike her usual appearance, she was not wearing her mesh shirts. Instead, she is simply wearing a bra and her tiny shorts while she tied her emerald hair in a bun.

"Couldn't you dress more decently?" I asked.

"It is hot in here. And why do you want me to wear other things? Does it botter you?" She leaned in. "Is this awakening your sexual desires?"

I simply rolled my eyes and decided to ignored her. "It does not botter me. You can wear any clothes you want to."

"You are no fun. I'm dressed like that because clothes will get in my way when I'm fighting. I still don't understand how can you fight while wearing a suit." This time. She was the one that shaked her head.

"This suit was especially made by the Zoldyck family. The cotton used allows it to cling to the body like a perfect glove, giving me high flexibility, so it doesn't get in my way." I told her. "Okay. It is time for us to go to our rooms. After all, we are the Final Bosses for the Spiders to fight." I smiled.

"Your plan is nuts." Menchi said.

"Do you doubt me?" I asked.

"I don't. I even believe that this will work." She sighed.

"Then let's go. Its time for the last act."
