Before Departing

Whole week happened to be a total mess in Jiang house hold. Jiang Chen could confirms that Jiang Elders are also going to leave River Spring city soon after them.

Lot of things changed and Jiang family almost emptied all the the resources in their possession. Many of rare materials ,resources were shared by three groups of peoples. Jiang Chen got to know that his second uncle would be staying in Rivers Province for now along with fourth uncle. His father and ancestors group would be going to Northern Grand now and there they will be linking up with other branch of Jiang family members. Second uncle and fourth uncle are responsible for holding the reserves here and finance. Jiang Chen's group has only one responsibility survive and get strong.

So already small group of River Province Jiang family is divided to 14,4 and 11 again and their strongest group is going to some other place.

All the resources are divided into three as bulk was being taken by Jiang Chen's father while ,stock materials are left to Jiang Chen and money was taken by Jiang Yun.

Even though it looked random a thorough planning was made in every thing.

There were three people gathered in a courtyard. It was Jiang Chen Jiang Yue and Third uncle Jiang Shin.

Jiang Yue "Jiang Chen I know you already know the situation around. Today is the day you are departing from River Spring City and there would be no Jiang in River Spring city a week from now."

Jiang Chen "Father is war that severe now. You are mobilizing in such a rush."

Jiang Yue "Kid war is not just fought in battle field there are 38 kinds of battles I know. Your father is a very important asset of Jiang Family. There is lot that you don't know about Jiang family and many don't know about it. Even though you know few things that no other Jiang know it is just a tip of ice berg."

Jiang Yue "Jiang Shin and Jiang Mingyun (seventh uncle) would be coming with you to protect you .Outside world will only see Mingyun and Shin's presence will be a secret to everyone."

Jiang Yue "Main Jiang family of River province made some arrangements for you people already. Shin will take you to that place. You will not face any problem there and I believe it would be near the sect too and you can visit it often."

Jiang Yue "Also remember surnames CHUAN and HE. There is a 30% chance they might belong to our Jiang family and are in secret . There are false identities prepared before for you already."

Jiang Yue then gave Jiang Chen a small scroll there are lot of information written on it. It contained false identities for all the fourteen members of Jiang Family with surname He and they belong to a small town from South Coast City."

Jiang Yue "Don't ever use them unless there was extreme emergency."

Jiang Chen "Why do we have such things ? What is Jiang family actually?" Jiang Chen couldn't stop but ask.

Jiang Yue "Kid even I don't have that much authority to know the answer, but only can say one thing our Jiang family can be considered as Guardian protector of Grand heavenly continent."

Jiang Chen "I guessed something like that. But I can't understand anything more than that."

Jiang Yue "You will know when the time comes. Hope we get to meet some day again son." he said as he patted Jiang Chen's head.

After that Jiang Yue left and only Jiang Chen and Jiang Shin are left.

Jiang Chen "Uncle was it similar to your generation too."

Jiang Shin "No ,We had peaceful time but I heard our ancestor had to part with his brothers it seems."

Jiang Chen "Do we have a second ancestor in hiding like you will be hidden from rest of world."

Jiang Shin thought for a while and chuckled "I don't know it is hidden from me too."

Jiang Chen "Uncle aren't you feeling sad to leave your brothers to uncertainty now and following bunch of green brats."

Jiang Shin "You know you are green. But I get to be with my kids protecting them and also I don't think this separation would be long we would be fated to face it sooner."

Jiang Shin "Our ship is ready I will be going there now . Jiang Chen only you know I am with you people don't come to meet me ,I will know everything happening around from Mingyun. So your responsibility is do what you want to do. I can only help you in secret. Plan clearly and thoroughly don't make rash decisions our duplicate identities are created thoroughly can only save us once. "

Saying that Jiang Shin left in a flash Jiang Chen couldn't see a trace of him at all. "

After the final meeting Jiang Chen went to his own courtyard where Meera was waiting for him.

Meera "Young master I am prepared I have prepared all things necessary for young master too."

There are dozen personal maids and guards coming along with Junior group. So Meera being personal main of Jiang Chen was in it too.

Jiang Chen "You didn't reveal it before right?" Jiang Chen asked teasing her she like to boast about Jiang family a lot well half the information about Jiang Chen would have been passed by her only but she know her limits.She is a faithful maid.

Meera "No young master .Meera know her limits."

Jiang Chen "Good. gather all the people going with us."

After few minutes every one gathered in Jiang Chen's courtyard.

Jiang Chen "Brothers and sisters today is the last day of us in River Spring city. All of you are already prepared and know few things which are our responsibility."

Jiang Chen "Patriarch has only one task for us to survive and get strong. It may look as simple task in sounding but in the world of dog eat dog we don't which dog gets which day."

Jiang Chen "Main army of our Jiang family in River Province is already leaving the coasts for a more important task. So it falls on us to rebuild it to reinforce them in times of need."

Jiang Chen "We are better prepared than them , our techniques are better ,there is also a geniuses season going on . Everything we have is better than what our previous generation got. Previously it was considered a rare genius when a person reached Martial disciple before 15."

Jiang Chen "How many of you have to say a thing about it?"

Jiang Feng "Old thinking. All of us broke it except for two."

Jiang Chen "Correct. So their is no miracle there.It is just we found a better method."

Jiang Chen "Three groups already know their duty. We have our Generals , we have our heroes and we have our backers."

Generals term referred to group of Jiang Feng as they are tasked with duty of recruiting people,

heroes term referred to their group of geniuses as their combat potential is highest and can inspire people . Backers referred to Jiang Chen's group of three they are jack of all trades so they can watch the backs.

Jiang Chen "You know what your duty is so don't spoil it . All we have to do is wait for opportunities and gather people patiently." it is about recruiting people they can't gather too much attention in doing so .They can't select a flashy target too. They have to form an army subtly and silently and effectively with most trusted people.

Jiang Chen "Lingrou ,girl you would be joining the sect along with me you have to pass admission test for that. Your first brother will help you whenever he can. "

LingRou "I am Jiang Chen's sister how can I fail a mere admission test when my brother is with me." she said proudly.

Everyone agreed with it.

Jiang Chen "Main Jiang family sent us a ship well more like a war ship. It would go to Old Marsh island where we have a place ready for us. Uncle Mingyun would go along with you to that place. Me and Lingrou would be parting at Moon islands from there we would go to River Moon city to admission."

Jiang Chen "There is a courtyard for us in Rivers city near Marsh Islands. Bingyue you would be in charge of it. Start a weapon store there I will provide you with new weapons whenever possible. It is in borders of River City I hope we can avoid much attention from Xie and Sai family."

Jiang Chen "Feng'er you can plan your own things."

Jiang Chen "Feng'er ,Bingyue and Lingyue try to gather as much information subtly about He family and Chuan family ."

Jiang Chen took a big lecture for them ,even he was uncertain of things that can happen in future now. Sai family and Xie family are gonna be a threat for them for sure. Jiang Chen was not sure how to play with them. Both families will try to recruit Jiang Chen under their wing and he don't know about their internal family struggles a noble family from this small city itself can't prevent internal struggles how can a large family do that. So it is a problem whomever he support he has to think of a good solution to prevent attention on Bingyue ,Marsh islands are safe even Martial Generals try to avoid navigating in Marsh islands ,it is only because Jiang family possesses a special navigating compass made to detect sensitivity of marshes and all they are venturing there.

Just like that it was already noon and Jiang Chen and his crew of over fifty people reached the port of River Spring city there there are over 8-10 ships docked there .This is main mode of travel from River Spring city to other cities and shortest route too. Among the ships 6 are all specially made warships they have advanced weaponry formations and defenses along with many features.

Jiang Mingyun "Chen'er that is our warship , it is called Chimera Fort it was made specially for sea battles. It can be crewed by just 10 people. It has fire attribute and ice attribute attack formations."

He said pointing to a medium sized ship in the corner. It has Chimera figure head at bow and there are few formation cannons."

Jiang Mingyun "That ship there is called Dragon Fort it is the main battle ship of Jiang family of River Province they sent it to patriarch for his use." obviously this ships are made for trans versing rivers they won't fit in seas . Dragon fort was designed for high seas."

Jiang Mingyun then explained about each ship in the dock. Of the ten ships docked there the biggest one was a was Ferry it was borrowed from a shipping company by Ha Family to transport students who are going to river moons city for admission. There were three warships belonging to City lord family, Two belong to Bai family and one each of Shangguan family and Su family. there were two more ships belonging to Shangguan family and Bai family that have gone for scouting the rivers ahead from robbers and pirates. Jiang families old warship was sent to Marsh islands already for reconstructing.

Jiang Chen boarded the Ship along with his family and hid family guards went to man the ship. Jiang Chen was standing on the deck and observing things carefully. He sensed his third uncle in a secret room of the ship . There were three crew guards standing beside Jiang Chen and seven others were ready at their posts for ship to start.

Jiang Chen was waiting for Ha ling and his family to start their ship. There are still people gathering around the FERRY ,Jiang Chen could make an estimated over 500 people are going to participate in the admission test .

Both the Shangguan Sisters boarded the ferry ,Bai Mo boarded the ferry with 100 of his family members and only half of them are going to admission test. Su family didn't send many people either there were only over few dozens and Shangguan family has over 60 people with only 12 of them taking the admission test and rest are security and servants.
