Chapter 2: [My Eyes That Can See The Future]

Kanzaki searched all over the campus figuring out where the Chaos Being would spawn sometimes he would get caught by the teachers and they would reprimand him for running around the campus

"Oi! Kanzaki no running in the hallway" said one of the teacher

But no matter how much the teachers shouted at him he ignores them for him finding out it's spawn site first is his first priority after all if measure won't be taken, many students of the Acadamy would die

Cause of his strange behavior many teachers chased after him trying to stop him from running, even the students are either moving aside or staying away from him

Meanwhile on the way back to the classroom Alice was walking on the hallway. While she was walking she overheard some of the girl students gossiping about Kanzaki so stopped what she was doing and eavesdropped on them

"Hey have you heard about that student?" (student 1)

"You mean the guy that kept running all around the campus?" (student 2)

"Yeah that guy" (student 1)

"I heard that many of the teachers are trying to catch him and telling to stop running" (student 3)

"Really? Wow he got guts for trying to make the teachers chase him" (student 2)

"So did he listened to the teachers?" (student 1)

"No! I heard he ignored them" (student 3)

"Whoa!" (student 1&3)

"Well he is somewhat kind of weird" (student 3)

"Why would you say that?" (student 2)

"Well he just kept running around and ignoring the teachers... it's like he's looking for something" (student 3)

"Looking for something?" (student 1)

"I don't know... c'mon let's go over there" (student 3)

"Uhh! Sure why not" (student 1&3)

When the student left Alice thought to herself

"Just what are you up to kanzaki-kun?" She murmured

But when she looked outside the window she saw Kanzaki running away from the teachers that were chasing him

"Ehhh?! He really is being chased" she thought to herself

While oblivious to all the rumors going around and how Alice pictured him currently, Kanzaki himself was hiding behind the stacks of boxes in their gymnasium

"Hah! Hah! Hah!"(panting)

"Have you found him?" (PE Teacher 1)

"No" (PE Teacher 2)

"Maybe he's over there let's go" (PE Teacher 1)

"*Sigh!" He begun to relax himself

"I finally lost them" he murmured "no matter where I look I can't seem to pinpoint where it would appear"

"Even when I use my ability... It doesn't even tell me where it spawned" he added

Then Kanzaki pondered to himself

"If I were that creature where would I spawn?......... Heck! I'm not even smart enough to think like it..... It could spawn anywhere"

As he said this he checked the time in his phone

"It's been 30 minutes already since that foresight hah!"

"Well it's no use for me to stay here I need to find it and lure it out of here"

As he stood up he felt a huge surge of energy or Mana are gathering up at a certain location

He felt chills rundown his neck by sending this

Immediately he went outside the gymnasium at pinpoint the location where the Mana are gathering up

After few seconds of following it he was surprised by the location it was gathering

"It's gathering up at the science room at the second floor?" He said with a shaky voice

"Of all places why there? There will students up there" he added

Before going to the location he checked the surroundings and was shocked to see that the other students are not at all faze by the surge of energy or to simple it out they don't even notice this strange occurrence

"Am I the only one who could sense this?" He said shakily

As he realized that only him could sense this phenomenon he gathered his resolve, gritted his teeth and head straight for the science room

The moment he arrived at the door of the science room he could feel his breath getting heavier and his chest tightening from the energy that is accumulating in the room.

As he opened the door he was immediately met by a huge wave of energy so big that it pressured him... enough for him to think of backing away

As he stared at the room a familiar voice reached his ears

"Kanzaki-kun? What are you doing here?" Asked Alice

"Alice?" Said Kanzaki shakily

The moment Alice talked to Kanzaki she saw his face covered in sweat and unrest

"Are you ok? Do you feel sick?" She asked

"What..." He stuttered

"Geez! your sweating a lot why are standing there looking at an empty room?" She asked

Driven by his sense of danger he grabbed her wrist and said

"What are you doing here?... You need to go it's not safe here!"

But she replied "what are you saying?"

In their exchange of words a change suddenly occured in the atmosphere

[Crack!]

At this certain sound both of them stopped talking and looked at the source of that sound

"Wh.... Why is there a crack in space right there?" She asked shakily

By the sudden surprise Alice was terrified at this development so she asked Kanzaki for confirmation

But when she looked back at Kanzaki she saw that in his face that he was panicking

"Alice?"he cried

[Crack!]

"I want you to run, get as far away from here as possible" he said worryingly

[Crack!]

Seeing no response whatsoever he looked at Alice and saw she was frozen stiff and terrified

He could also hear other student coming their way

[Crack!]

As Kanzaki saw the crack in space grew big that is already visible to the eye he panicked

He took ahold of Alice and said

"ALICE! Listen to me! Listen to me! Don't look there! Just look at me okay!? You need to get out of here and bring as many students you can outside the campus! Do you understand?"

[Crack! Break!]

Before he could even let Alice go the barrier that seperates the two world's broke

At that moment the whole acadamy was showered by the intense killing intent of the creature

"Why is this happening now?"

"This is the end! This is it!"

"I don't want to die! I don't want to die!"

"Mama! Papa! Help me!"

All the people in the Acadamy panicked and in distraught not knowing what to do in the face of danger

But the most affected of all are the two individuals that are the nearest to it's location

Alice dropped down to her knees and wet herself while crying

While Kanzaki was poured in so much sweat and wore a grim expression

"It's here! It's too late to escaped now!" He said shakily

While they were all frozen stiff the creature started to emerge from the rift revealing his body

It body structure was like the body of a panther but instead of skin it is replaced by a skeletal  skin making more like a monster

The panther type chaos beast look at both of them and growled

Feeling like it was a stand off Kanzaki urged Alice to get away from him

"Alice you have to..."

Before he could finish his words his eyes started to activate on its own and showed a hint of the future

Immediately he pushed down Alice to the floor

At the exact moment a tail swept past above his head

[Kaboom]

With the impact of the tail it created a small explosion in the corridor

When he looked up he could see a slash that destroyed the walls and door of the room

"All that damage is only been done by a tail?" He thought to himself

At that next moment his ability activated again

He immediately told Alice

"Get up! Move! Run!"

And the nick of a time they manage to dodge the panther type chaos beast from pouncing on them

Alice started to run and of course all the nearby student started to run as they witnessed the chaos being jumping out of the room

But when Alice looked back she saw Kanzaki didn't move a single step away from it

"Kanzaki-kun!" She shouted

"Don't mind me! I'm the one it's after" he replied

"What do you..."

Before she could finish her words Kanzaki had another foresight and immediately shouted

"Cover your ears!"

At the same time the panther type chaos beast let out a high frequency roar that made all the glass in the Acadamy  shattered and ground split of cracks

The people that didn't cover their ears could be seen writhing in pain and agony and some could even see their ears bleeding

As Kanzaki regained his composure Kanzaki thought to himself

"This can't go on or else if this continues it will cause a lot of damage in the Acadamy"

So he decided to lure it away this instant

He opened the window prepared to jump

Startled by this Alice shouted

"What are you doing? Don't jump! This is the second floor"

But Kanzaki paid no heed to her warning and replied

"Don't worry I can handle this"

And he jumped out of the window

"Kanzaki!!!" She shrieked

Seeing its target jump out of the window the panther type chaos beast followed him in pursuit

Seeing her best friend and the creature jump out of the window she immediately headed to the window to confirm her friends safety

The moment she took a peek she saw Kanzaki luring the creature outside the campus

The moments Kanzaki lured the panther type chaos beast outside the Acadamy he glanced back at it

"Alright it's still following me it! It can't jump recklessly here with so many obstacles so where should I lure it?" He thought to himself

As he pondered this thought a construction site entered his view and instantly decided that it would lure it there

"Alright I will put it there" he thought to himself

Kanzaki spent the last 10 minutes luring the chaos beast to the construction site

Within these 10 minutes his eyes showed multiple events where he died so he tried his best to avoid this kind of tragedy but it wasn't easy he almost got hit by a truck, slip to wet floor ,got fatally wounded on its back and crashed to objects inspite of all this he still stood up and kept moving to the construction site

After experiencing numerous near death situations he finally arrived at the construction site

He was relieved to know that there aren't any people around that could be seen

So even with injuries and bruises all over his body he grabbed an iron tube, collected his resolve, and face the chaos beast

At the same time the panther type chaos beast arrived at the construction site

"Hey come at me were all alone now" he bravely declared inspite of him being scared

The panther type chaos beast growled at him

For a moment silence dominated the area, tensions rising and Kanzaki's heartbeat started pumping wildly

At that moment the panther type chaos beast attacked him using dash, slice, and bite to finish him off

Using his ability Kanzaki manage to at least dodge some of its attack but no matter how much he sees opponents attacks doesn't mean that he suddenly became athletic so he also accumulated danger on its body as it dodges its attack

In the next instant Kanzaki spotted an opening he immediately swung the iron tube at the jaw of the chaos beast

[Clang]

An unusual sound vibrated the area that wasn't supposed to sound like

He dropped the iron tube and numbness spread to his hands and bones

"Hard! It's too hard" he murmured

In that slight opening the panther type chaos beast side swipe it's claws throwing Kanzaki to the iron pillar that was being constructed

"Guhah!" He exclaimed as he spat out blood from his mouth

After that the panther type chaos beast opened it's jaw and energy started to gather from it's mouth

"Oi! Oi! Oi! Don't tell me it can shoot out lasers now" he said weakly

No matter how many time his ability showed him that he would die if that hit him he won't be able to dodge this attack, his body is injured, his bones are broken, and stamina are depleting rapidly he has no way retaliate at all

"This is the end huh!" He murmured "well at least I'm the only one who will die"

He looked at the chaos beast with eyes lost of Hope and she'd one last year

"Looks like I'll be seeing you guys sooner" he murmured ( referring to his parents)

In the next moment his vision was blurried with white light

And when he thought it was all over someone suddenly called out

"Pathetic!"

At the same time a huge sword descended from the sky intercepting the laser

[KABOOM]

A huge explosion occured at the construction site which caught the attention of the masses

After the dust from the explosion settled down a person with a long red hair crashed right beside where the sword landed

"I thought you were something special but you disapoint me" the person exclaimed
