"Welcome!" A few minutes later, after Palkus met with Emily, he found himself inside the house and sitting at a table alongside Emily's family.
"Thank you, miss." Palkus, looking at Emily's mother, felt helpless so he just smiled.
"Ara, just call me mother." The lady, who looked like an older version of his girlfriend, made the young man feel like a child. She was wearing an apron on top of a white long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and crocs.
"Thank you, mother." Palkus said it once again.
"I didn't know you had such a handsome boyfriend, you cheeky girl." Emily's mother, Emiliana, looked at her daughter smugly and said. Emily, however, didn't say anything and just stood there, shy and embarrassed.
"So… when are you going to get off him?" Instead of replying to her mother, however, Emily looked back at her sister, who was clinging to Palkus and said.
