Ryan gazed at his stats, his eyes scanning the window over and over again, and he came to the same conclusion: the increase was definitely smaller than last time. He seemed to only get less than a five-point increase in all stats individually, whereas last time he got around a ten-point increase.
He decided to further test this theory; he'd use another shard and see its effects.
Ryan gripped the shard, watching it burst into silver dust from his intention to use it alone. Like before, he felt power rush through him, yet he noticed something: the burning sensation that followed wasn't as intense, and none of it felt the same.
Ryan turned back to his status window.
