This wasn't a typical prey animal, cowering before its predator. This man was a fighter, desperate and unpredictable.

The panther lowered itself again, but its movements were less confident this time. The young man saw the flicker of doubt in its eyes. He seized the moment. With a guttural yell, he launched himself at the panther again.

This time, the panther was ready. It swiped its paw, aiming for the young man's head. But the young man ducked, rolling to the side just as the claws ripped through the air. He came up behind the panther, adrenaline coursing through his veins.

With a final surge of strength, the young man jumped. He brought his fist down in a powerful blow, connecting with the base of the panther's skull. The impact sent a jolt through his own arm, but the panther didn't move. It slumped to the ground, motionless.
