Face Off.
Low, menacing growls filled the air, followed by the slow steps of the approaching panthers. Their approach cautious as they observed the corpse of their fallen companion, growls exposing long teeth dripping with slimy saliva.
Ryan, their target, took steps back as he now faced off against four of the Hudinite panthers with no weapon at all. Ryan began regretting the reckless dependency he had put in what was becoming his trusty old knife.
Killing the first panther wasn't entirely difficult. There was a possibility that if Ryan attempted it, he might be able to eliminate all four of the panthers, however, he wasn't careless enough to find out.
