"Haha, how interesting, people are only unfortunate to step into that forest when they are entering or leaving Azkai from the west, and here you are wanting to go there," the innkeeper crackled, a laugh of amusement.

"Well, I have something I need to get done in that place."

"You always surprise me, Adrian," the innkeeper chuckled slightly.

"Recently, I've been surprising myself as well," Ryan muttered. To think he'd consider going back to that forest of his own volition, in search of a mana beast, it was absurd but here he was.

The innkeeper pulled out a couple of coins, handing them to the stall owner. "It was delicious," he praised, as the stall owner offered a nod of appreciation before watching them leave.

"Your meeting with the leader," the old man began as they walked the streets to his friend's inn where they were to spend the night. "How'd it go?"
