Mana Core Testing Steps

The three youths walked towards the crowd in front of the large building. Loras went to a student nearby and ask what the commotion was all about.

"It's for the Mana Core Testing steps." The female student answered.

"Mana Core Testing steps?"

"Yes. The steps test the strength of your mana core. There is a total of fifteen steps. And each step gets you corresponding points. Everyone's trying it because there's a leaderboard posted inside the testing area. And people want to know how they would fare against other mages."

"Ah, now I understand. I'm Loras by the way. And these two are my friends, Krios and Alexis."

Loras pointed towards his friends who were standing right behind him.

"I'm Elnica. And this is my friend Misha. Nice to meet the three of you. Are you going to try the testing steps?"

"Yeah definitely. Right guys?"

The other two just nodded and they lined up with the rest of the crowd.
