Christoph was eating food in the dining room with Ambrosia. A maid served the dishes, and the young man was about to sip wine when he said, "Is it just me, or the menu for the night is dedicated to me?"
Ambrosia replied while cutting the steak on her plate, "I read from your dossier. Your family liked to visit the steak restaurant."
Christoph froze and said, "Well, thank you for remembering."
Ambrosia sighed and said, "I remember something else, too."
Christoph was surprised and asked, "What would that be?"
The Duchess put down her knife and fork and said, "It is your birthday."
Christoph was shocked and froze. He opened his eyes wide and gasped, "My birthday?"
After the shock, he calmed down and remarked, "I completely forgot about it."
Ambrosia nodded and said, "In the vampire world, we do not have the tradition of cutting a cake. So, enjoy your favorite food."
Christoph chuckled and said, "Thank you."
