52 Spar After 5 Years

It had been a month that they had lived in this new house, their life was fairly peaceful.

However, there is one great piece of news!

Ur was able to return to her previous condition. She might have lost her right leg before, but after she received her artificial limb, she could walk normally without any trouble. She could also control her magic, but she felt that she needed to test it. She glanced at Bourne and knew that it was time for that.

Bourne also owned an artificial arm on his left arm. He wanted to regrow his left arm, but it seemed that it was harder than he had thought. He needed more time to learn about his "Water Magic", the tattoo on his body, along with to learn a new magic to regrow his lost left arm.

Ultear was very happy that she spent her time with two of her loved ones, but at the same time, she was thinking whether she was worthy to own this happiness when she thought about what she had done in the past.

In the past month, Bourne hadn't talked about his plan to join a Magic Council and he used all of his time to help Ur on her rehabilitation and trained with Ultear since it seemed that she was also eager to become stronger.

The three of them spent their time together, Ultear and Ur had to admit that they loved this feeling. Though, at the same time, they knew that they wouldn't stay in this place too long since they could feel Bourne's ambition. Even though he tried to hide it, they could see that it seemed that he had found his goal and as his women, they would stand by his side.

However, right in the early morning, Ur said something inexplicable.

"Spar?"

Bourne was a bit surprised when Ur asked about this request.

Ur nodded and said, "I want to see your progress from the past years." She wanted to see how powerful he was by facing him directly and she also wanted to see how strong she was after her magic power had increased. She might have seen him fighting against Deliora, and this time, she wanted to see the difference of power between the two of them.

"You want to have a spar? Are you serious?" Ultear asked.

"Yeah. I'm his teacher after all and we have done it often in the past, right?" Ur said.

Bourne looked at Ur and could see that this woman was serious. He thought for a while and nodded. "Let's search for an empty field since if both of us fight each other, there might be a lot of damage to the surrounding area."

"That's true." Ur nodded.

Ultear sighed and knew that it was impossible to stop both of them.

The three of them walked out from their house and walked toward the empty field which they had found a week ago right in the forest near this town.

Though, along the way, they happened to meet Bob, who was buying his groceries.

"Huh? Where are you going?" Bob asked curiously.

"....."

Bourne, Ultear, and Ur looked at each other and thought that this guy might become a good judge for their spar.

Bob's face was full of worries and asked, "Did you really have to have a spar with each other?"

"Don't stop us, Bob." Ur stretched her arms and added, "I want to see the progress of my student."

"I'm just doing what she has said." Bourne also stretched out while thinking about what kind of magic he would use for this spar.

"Tear-chan, can you stop them?" Bob asked.

"Let them do it," Ultear said.

"....."

Bob sighed and somehow made them think Bourne and Ur seemed to be more suitable to enter Fairy Tail, but at the same time, he was also curious how powerful they were. Even though Ichiya had told him that Bourne was very strong, Bourne was only 12 years old and even if Bourne was strong, his strength wouldn't reach the power of Ten Wizard Saints, right?

"Bourne, have you learned a new magic after five years?" Ur asked.

Bourne shook his head and said, "No, I don't have that chance."

"So you're only training using the magic which you've learned in the past?"

"Well, yeah..." Bourne looked at Ur and asked, "Do you want me to use Ice Make magic only or with other magic too?" Even though he would use other magic, it had become his habit to ask this Ur this question.

"Use your Ice Make only! Let's see how strong that you've developed your Ice Make magic."

Ur grinned and gathered her palms together.

"Wait, wait..."

"Too late!"

A large magic circle appeared on her hands and magical energy focussed on her hands, Ur's eyes shone and shouted, "Ice Make: Bamboo Forest!"

Ice Make is very versatile magic and as long as the user has a lot of creativity in their minds then it is possible for them to create anything.

During Ur's stay in this town, she had seen various things and a bamboo forest was one of them.

Suddenly a large number of ice bamboo pikes burst out of the ground and were ready to impale Bourne.

"...."

Bob took a deep breath when he saw what had happened since Ur was stronger than he had thought and the coldness of this magic made his bone tremble.... He protected himself with his magic power, but at the same time, he was worried about Bourne since Ur was serious.

Ultear was also amazed at how strong her mother was and she quickly hid behind Bob.

Looking at the ice bamboo pikes which were ready to impale him, Bourne took a deep breath and used his magic.

"1,000 Degree Celsius!"

*Shhh.....!*

The ice bamboo which was created by Ur suddenly melted and Bourne was surrounded by red aura which generated a very high degree of heat.

Bob, who was on the side, frowned since this heat was very uncomfortable for him even though he had used his magic to protect himself.

'Cold and hot....'

Bob grimaced since he felt very uncomfortable.

Ultear also felt uncomfortable, but she felt better since she was hiding behind Bob.

"Bourne! Use your Ice Make!"

Ur roared and it seemed that she had returned to how she usually was when Bourne skipped his training or doing something different from what she had told.

"Don't blame me, you've attacked me so suddenly."

Bourne sighed and tapped the ground a few times before a large magic circle appeared below himself. The hot temperature disappeared instantly and suddenly became cold.

Ur became serious and knew that Bourne was about to use his magic. "Come at me with all of your power!"

"Ice Make...."

Bourne's eyes shone, then he cast his magic. "Broccoli!"

The ground suddenly trembled and everyone felt that there was an earthquake happening in this city.

"W, what's happening?!"

"An earthquake?"

"Get down, protect yourself!"

Everyone in the city moved under something to protect themselves from this earthquake, but suddenly they opened their mouth wide when they saw something appeared in the forest.

"..."

Bob, Ultear, and Ur ran away as fast as possible since they felt that something was about to grow out from the ground.

"...."

Bob, Ultear, and Ur then stopped when they saw what had appeared in front of them.

Broccoli.

Very massive broccoli.

"..."

Bourne created a massive ice broccoli with a height of more than 60 meters which made Bob, Ultear, and Ur speechless.

"..."

Bob, Ultear, and Ur weren't sure what to say for a while.

Bob was surprised by the size of the magic, but Ur and Ultear were surprised by the shape which was chosen by Bourne since they felt that there were a lot of better things which Bourne could make using an Ice Make, but they didn't understand why he had chosen broccoli.

"...This...?" Bob wiped his eyes and thought that he was dreaming when he saw this massive broccoli.

"How?" Bourne asked while walking toward them.

"..."

Bourne smiled and asked, "You're satisfied?"

Ur sighed and nodded. "Alright, you passed. Let's go back."

"OK."

Boure, Ultear, and Ur walked away from their the location of their spar leaving Bob, but Bob quickly regained his bearing and shouted, "YOU THREE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS GIANT BROCCOLI!!!" His feminine voice had changed into more masculine and somehow this reminded him of his day at Fairy Tail.
