140 Odd Job

Inside the Fairy Tail, everyone was excited as it usually was and everyone held a party, even though they didn't have that much money and only drank a beer or two.

After Bourne drew back the quests which he usually posted on Fairy Tail, there were some people who also drew their quests back from Fairy Tail.

However, there was a lot of trouble in this continent and there was a limit for a guild to take of every quest in this kingdom or continent, lastly, some of magicians on Fairy Tail had a very good popularity so there was also a people who posted their quests on Fairy Tail.

However, once they had lost their strong members, they would also lose those quests, especially after one of their S-Class Magicians, Laxus, had caused a lot of trouble to the guild.

Their members might decrease, however, as a Fairy Tail, they had never given up or fallen into sadness, since they would welcome their new member.

Wendy Marvell.

That was the name of their new member.

In the usual party which was led by Natsu, Erza, Lucy, and Gray, they went on the quest to destroy Nirvana which was a very dangerous weapon, and during their quest, they met Wendy who also happened to be a Dragon Slayer.

After Wendy lost her guild, she was invited by everyone and joined the Fairy Tail.

Wendy had gotten used to the life of Fairy Tail, but somehow, she also realized that not all of the people in this place were quite close to each other, however, she didn't think too much since frankly, she enjoyed her stay in this place.

The only thing that Wendy felt worried about was the rent of her house since she didn't have that much money. If Erza and Lucy didn't let her stay at their houses for a while, she was sure that she would be homeless.

But still, Wendy needed money.

"What's wrong, Wendy?" Mirajane asked with a smile. Personally, she loved this little girl who had just joined their guild.

"Mi - Mira-san!" Wendy was startled and then told Mirajane about her worries. She wasn't sure, but when she was with Mirajane, she felt quite relaxed and that she was being taken care of by an older sister.

"If you're worried about money then why don't you take one of the quests?" Mirajane asked.

"I want too, but..." Wendy looked at the quest board and there was only a strange and difficult quest left on the Fairy Tail.

As being mentioned, the effect of making Bourne as an enemy wasn't good since the only quest which being posted on this guild was left with a quest that took a lot of time, weird, disgusting, or very dangerous.

Wendy wasn't sure if she could clear those quests.

"I see..."

Mirajane also let out a long sigh, and she also knew the trouble that her guild had received, even so, she wouldn't beg him to do that kind of thing since she knew that everyone didn't have a good impression of him and him...

Mirajane was sure that Bourne didn't care much about the people on Fairy Tail.

Mirajane looked around and said in whisper, "Wendy, do you want to take a secret job?"

"Huh?!"

Wendy was startled and asked, "S - Secret job, what is that?" She was a bit nervous and her face blushed since she thought that it was quite a dirty job.

"What is it? What are you talking about? You're not going to introduce Wendy to a strange job, right?"

"Carla!"

Wendy wanted to stop Carla who started to talk rudely to Mirajane.

As a Dragon Slayer, Wendy would of course be accompanied by a flying cat and that cat was this female white cat, Carla.

"It's not a strange job, but the person who I want to introduce to you, doesn't have a good impression of Fairy Tail," Mirajane said with an awkward smile.

"Don't have a good impression of Fairy Tail?" 2x

Wendy and Carla looked at Mirajane with a strange expression.

If that person didn't have a good impression of Fairy Tail then how was that person going to give Wendy a job?

"Even if his opinion about Fairy Tail isn't good, our relationship isn't bad," Mirajane said with a longing smile. She sometimes wondered whether she should retire from Fairy Tail and go to his place.

Carla and Wendy looked at Mirajane with a strange expression since it was their first time to see Mirajane to have such an expression.

Then Mirajane quickly shook her head and said, "Anyway, don't tell anyone that I have introduced you to this job."

"Are you alright, Mira-san?" Wendy looked at Mira with a worried expression, wondering why she showed such a sad expression.

"I am alright. If you want to accept this quest then I will accompany you to that place," Mirajane said.

"Where is this place?" Carla asked with a doubtful expression.

"Carla!"

"It's alright. It's alright." Waving her hand, Mirajane said, "It is near Hargeon Town."

"Near Hargeon Town?" 2x

Carla and Wendy looked at each other and wondered what kind of place that was being recommended by Mirajane.

"If you're worried about the payment then you don't need to worry since the payment of this job is usually quite huge. You can pay the rent of your house for several months," Mirajane said.

"Mira-san, please let me take this job!" Wendy said without hesitation.

Carla knew that Wendy needed money for their home so she couldn't say much in this matter, however, she had a question that she wanted to ask.

"Can I ask you whether someone beside you has accepted this job?" Carla asked.

Mirajane shook her head and said, "Beside me, sometimes the girls on Fairy Tail accept this quest since the payment is quite good."

"Now that you mention it, what kind of job is this?" Carla asked.

"It is a model" Mirajane said with a smile.

"Model?" 2x

Carla and Wendy looked at each other and they weren't sure what to say for a moment.

"So do you want to do it now?" Mirajane asked.

"Well...."

Bourne felt that his nose was a bit itchy for some reason.

"Bourne-sama, did you catch a cold?" Ikaruga asked.

"No."

Bourne never caught a cold after all, even if he had one, it should have happened at the time he stayed at Land of Isvan at that time. He looked at Ikaruga and asked, "So where do you want to go this time?"

Ikaruga smiled and said, "Let's go to that place."
