It had been one year since both of them had been living together.

Ur was outside the merchant guild in the town looking at the scenery in this town. In the past, she only came to buy the necessary items and to sell the beast or magical beast which she had hunted on the mountain. It wasn't a very pleasant place since she had a lot of bad memories in this place from losing her daughter and being abandoned by her husband. Though, she started to forget about that since her day had been very pleasant when he had come into her life.

"No, no, no, we can only give you this much!"

"No, old man! I've seen in the newspaper that the noble really loves the fur from this magical beast. Don't lie to me! I know that you can sell this magical beast 10 times its worth outside this town! Let me tell you that my teacher has enough strength to become Ten Wizard Saints! Ur sighed when she listened to their conversation and her face couldn't help but blush in embarrassment. She glanced at Bourne who was negotiating with the leader of the merchant guild at the town about the price of the magical beast which she had hunted. In the past, she didn't think too much about the price since she only needed enough money to fill her stomach, but he protested to her that she had been played by the merchant guild since she could get more money from the magical beast which she had hunted on the mountain.

"Who is your teacher?"

"Ur! The most powerful and beautiful Ice Magician!"

Ur's cheek was flushed and even though it was winter, she felt that her body temperature increased when she heard how her pupil tried to boast about herself. She was really embrassed and really wanted to go back now. She glanced inside and it was just when the leader of the merchant guild glanced at her. She also saw his pupil whisper something to that guy before that guy seemed to get older several years ahead. She saw her pupil smile brightly as he received a bag of money from the merchant guild before leaving the building.

Bourne didn't forget to raise his middle finger before walking toward Ur with a bright smile.

Ur scarthed her head and asked, "Is it done?"

"Done."

Bourne nodded and sighed. "Ur, in the future, let me handle the negotiation. I'm not sure how many times that you've sold the magical beasts which you've hunted in this place, but you've been cheated a lot of times." Looking at the merchant guild in front of him, he felt quite envious since he knew that all of the things which were being sold in this town were being managed by this merchant guild.

Bourne felt angry and filled with indignation when he thought about Ur's little bungalow house, it was very comfortable and cozy, but it was too much when he thought that she didn't have a lot of money since she was being cheated by the merchant guild. Looking at Ur, he sighed since even though Ur was a very strong magician, she wasn't good at other things which was why it was very easy for her to be cheated.

Bourne felt that money was necessary, but it didn't mean that he wanted to become the richest man in this world since he felt happy as long as he could live with her.

Ur nodded and didn't think too much. She knew that she wasn't good at negotiation and she could let him manage her finances since she didn't like complicated things. Then she noticed a book in his hand which made her curious.

"What's that book?"

"It's a magic book."

"Magic book? What kind of magic do you want to learn? Isn't my Ice-Make enough?"

Ur couldn't help but frown since Bourne didn't tell her beforehand. She was his teacher and of course, she cared about his future. Even though she knew that he was smart, he was a child after all. She was afraid for him to learn a strange magic or magic which might affect his future.

"Don't misunderstand."

Waving his hand, Bourne explained, "This is a compensation from the leader of the merchant guild for us." He wasn't sure how much money that guy had cheated on Ur, but he knew that it would be a lot more than the price of this magic book. However, he just happened to need this magic book and he was too lazy to ask for more money since it would take a lot of time. He didn't want to make her wait for him too long.

Ur nodded and asked, "So what magic is that?"

"It's heat magic."

"Heat?"

Bourne nodded since he needed this magic. In Ur's house, there was also a magic book, but it was mostly about magic which related to ice such as Ice-Make magic, ice magic, freeze magic, snow magic, etc. For "Water" magic which he was born with, he could learn it by himself since he was born with it.

Bourne wanted to master three states of water from solid, liquid, and gas. He could make his water become hot, but it wasn't enough to turn it into gas. It was also pretty simple magic and he could practice this magic in his spare time. In the future, he might also try to learn "air magic" or something related to it, but well, he was young after all, he could learn it slowly.

When Ur heard about heat magic, her expression couldn't help but turn into disdain. She was an ice magician after all, even though she didn't have a prejudice about a magician who used heat or fire, but in her mind, she felt that ice was stronger.

Of course, Bourne explained the reason why he asked this magic book and what he wanted to learn from it.

Ur agreed reluctantly since she felt that her pupil was being stolen from her or something.

Bourne nodded and agreed without hesitation. He thought for a while and remembered something. "Ur, can you wait here for a bit? I have something to do first."

"Where are you going?" Ur asked.

Bourne didn't wait for her answer and ran in some direction.

Ur shook her head and sighed. Sometimes, it was quite hard to manage a student who was too smart. Though, she waited for him honestly and felt a bit curious about what he wanted to do. She leaned her back on the wall while putting her hands in her pocket. She waited for him for a while before she saw him walking toward her.

"Where have you been?" Ur asked.

Bourne didn't say anything and gave her something.

"This is?"

Ur was a bit confused.

"It's a jacket. Your jacket is quite worn out after all. I've thought about buying you a new one."

Bourne was quite speechless when this woman only had one type of clothes and thought to buy her something different. He knew that she loved to wear tank-tops and jackets, but it was quite old after all. He also knew that she didn't like something too girly and he chose based on her style.

Ur blinked her eyes and asked, "For me?"

"Yes."

Ur smiled and took the jacket rudely from him. She took off her jacket directly and wore the new one. She also loved this style of jacket and decided to wear it directly. Her worn out jacket was thrown at Bourne which left him speechless.

"How is it?" Ur asked.

Bourne gave her a thumbs up. "Beautiful. If I'm 15 years older then I might court you right away."

Ur snorted, but her mouth was smiling. "Let's go back."

"Good."

Both of them went back together, Ur held Bourne's hand tighter since she was very happy that she received the first gift from her pupil.

"What?" Bourne asked curiously.

"What do you want to eat?"

"....."

Bourne was a bit surprised and asked, "You're going to cook?"

"No, you're the one who is going to cook."

"..."

"Then why do you ask?" Bourne was speechless.

"Nothing. I'm just curious." Ur was smiling.

"I'll keep it a secret until later."

"Ehh..? Tell me." Ur was quite coquettish and smiled happily along the way.

Today was a very good day for both of them and the relationship between teacher and student became even closer.
