67 Chapter 67 [Season 1 End]

Sam found himself falling from a height of 200 meters right into the sea, accompanied by the head of the devil. This somehow triggered a memory of him falling from an airplane. He formed a circle with his index and thumb, aiming below him.

"Kon, full summon"

A large smoke screen appeared, followed by the body of a red female fox, about 100 meters in size. The fox looked below her, and as Sam landed on her nose, she said, "You're summoning me to use me as a stepping stone again."

"You don't want to," Sam replied, pretending to be sad as he laid down.

The fox rolled her eyes. "Maybe I should let you fall."

"What a shame. And here I was planning to feed you the Gun Devil. I guess I should send you away," Sam said, shaking his head and clicking his tongue. He was about to send the Fox Devil away and cancel her summon.

The fox cleared her throat. With a sudden change in tone from annoyed to gentle, she said, "For someone who jokes all the time, you can't handle a bit of sarcasm. Come on, it's rude to let your big sis go hungry."

"Yeah, I guessed as much."

Sam jumped off the head once he reached the water, hearing the notification.

She opened her mouth, looking down toward the Gun Devil, jumping on the head to eat it.

He leveled up around 5 levels, earning himself 10 Affinity points and 5 Skill Points.

'Feels like I'm nearing the peak level of this system.' Sam thought, before he started running on the water, his monument carrying him all the way back to the land.

Who welcomed him was Makima, hands on her elbows, saying, "And you fed the fox. And what's with her saying, your big sis?"

Her voice was calm, yet it gave him some chills.

"You've never been annoyed when you see me around Power or Himeno," he replied.

"Those are humans, fiends. Just like toys I let you play with them. But that one is a devil," she pointed her hand toward the Fox Devil.

Sam smirked, thinking that Makima could be jealous of another devil.

"Hey, don't worry." Sam lifted his hand. "I can't stick my penis in a devil that big. Nothing can happen. But if you wanted to eat it, I can grab you a piece."

"No need," Makima said, "More nations will fear me once they know I took care of the gun devil. Anyway, that doesn't matter. What matters now is that we'll get officially married tomorrow and haven't prepared a dress or anything."

More nations will fear her. Could it be that someone sent the Gun Devil after them, and Makima knew that somehow and had ended up making that contract about his life? In that case, he could doubt someone—the US president.

Though he didn't care about him right now, it would be fun to make the Hanma trend and attack the president. But he could care less. Let them live in fear and make his wife stronger.

"What are you thinking of?" Makima asked, waving her hand in front of his face. He realized that his train of thoughts distracted him, and she had to call him back to earth.

Sam cleared his throat. "Can't we just write that on a paper and get done with it?"

He didn't know if he was ready to marry.

"No. I want to live that experience," Makima said, "It's a dream of mine, after all."

Sam shrugged, "Who's going to stay at home and do the chores?"

"You. I work, and you stay at home, play with the kid, and then, we'll cuddle and do married stuff."

Sam thought about it. It meant that he could play as many video games as he could while doing a little chores around. Then, Makima would come back home, buy the food and everything.

And then, he could even complain that she wasn't giving him enough attention to rip some benefits and use it as an excuse.

'So, I do a little work and get nothing to worry about.' Sam smiled and nodded. 'That's not a bad life.'

"I thought you wouldn't react like this to the news," Makima replied.

Sam shrugged.

What's the big deal of doing some chores? It's not like he would do anything other than staying home, play, and do whatever the hell he liked. Besides, the future was promising, and he could live a very long life, thanks to Makima.

'Now on another thought, I can't die. Because I'll revive each time I die, I'm basically a true immortal. And I won't be alone. Besides, she's funny. She said I'll take care of the kids. Bitch please, we aren't the same species anyway. Hold on. She is not stupid.'

Sam, who had started laughing, paused for a second and looked at Makima, saying, "What!?"

"You got it right now. I'm becoming a mother?"

"That's not possible. Maybe you ate Mexican food or something." Sam looked at her stomach; it was still flat, though.

"I was as surprised as you. But it's not the first case in history. Dracula was a half devil as well," she said, a big smile on her face, "for some reason, you could make it. I'm going to be a mother. And we're going to bring more kids."

'I'm going to be a dad.' Sam paused for a second, then he tilted his head. He looked at the surrounding buildings, looking for the nearest milk store.

Sam took a deep breath.

He had stuck his penis in crazy, and he was going to get a kid.

It was the consequences of his action.

Makima sounded happy as she delivered the news. The smile didn't leave her face. As for him, he was shaking inside; his heart kept beating faster and faster.

Makima kissed his cheek, gave his shoulder a pat, and said, "Take your time to process it."

"For the record, I will never change the diapers." If there was something Sam hated about babies, it would be the endless cycle of pooping. He had little brothers. Each time his mother had changed their diapers, a strong smell would fill the air. Just thinking about having a kid triggered those memories in his head.

Makima laughed. "Haha. You don't have a problem getting inside devils' guts and cutting them, and you complain about some poop."

"It's different." Sam complained. But her statement had some truth to it.

Oh right. He had a weak smelling sense.

But still. He hated changing diapers. Though, he could always hire a nanny.

"How?"

"Forget it. Wanna see a movie?"

"Sure. After I finish dealing with papers."

One day later, in the middle of a random hall in Japan, Sam was in disbelief when he noticed that he was wearing a suit.

Most importantly, Makima wasn't wearing a suit but a wedding dress. He remembered in his life; he'd seen her only in a suit and without a suit. Nothing between. She's like Barney Stinson, but female.

He'd never seen marriage as necessary, but since it made her happy, he didn't care.

"And with this, I announce you a wife and a husband. You may kiss the bride."

Makima wrapped her arms around Sam and smashed her lips against his, taking the air out of his lungs.

AN: I was thinking between finishing this fanfiction or wait until the manga to finish its current arc. So I ended up calling it season 1.
