Sam woke up from his daydream as night fell.
Makima began to dress herself. She turned to him, smiled, and asked, "What do you think?"
Sam didn't say anything. He simply lay down and gave a thumbs-up. That was the best thing that had happened to him.
He had to admit, Makima was very wild and skillful in bed. He wasn't the one in control; it was quite the opposite. She seemed to know every nerve he had down there and how to use them. And since she was a devil, she certainly had inhuman stamina. She wasn't just any devil; she was a succubus.
'Not going to complain.' Sam stood up and fastened his pants. Then he walked over to his phone.
"Anyway, I'll be working on our papers," Makima said. "And then I'll think about where we're going to live."
Now she was acting controlling.
"Geez, Power has a big place. She'll get us a room," Sam replied as he picked up his phone.
"We shall decide after the wedding," Makima replied as she picked up her phone. "Besides, I prefer a small home."
Sam noticed that many people were calling Tony, especially the brokers.
Something big was happening, that's for sure. Otherwise, they wouldn't be calling him like that.
He called one of them, Enzo, who picked up immediately.
"Why are you calling?" Sam asked.
"Tony! Have you heard the news? Your life's chance is here."
"What do you mean?"
"There is a bounty on someone's head, actually, a fiend, and you need to bring their heart."
Sam rubbed his temples. "You know I don't do assassinations. And I'm on vacation."
"The bounty is 7 billion dollars."
Sam's jaw almost dropped. "Repeat that?"
"Seven, fucking billion! There's no guarantee of success. The competition is high, but if we make it, we could forget a life of poverty."
"Who the hell got themselves into this position?"
"Chainsaw man fiend. He fought against Reze, another fiend, a Soviet assassin originally. They both sustained enough damage and disappeared."
"I see," Sam said, rubbing the back of his head. "So Tokyo is going to be loaded."
"Unfortunately. Hey! I never said he's in Tokyo. So that's where you went for vacation."
"I'm hanging up." Sam then turned off his phone and looked at Makima.
"So, what's the matter, Tony?" she said, stressing her tongue on his name.
"Nothing. Just an old job of mine." Sam shook his head, doubting that Makima had already heard everything. "So, why have they called you?"
"It's about Denji," Makima said. "He got engaged in a combat against a human devil. He got severely injured, but nothing a little blood can't fix."
"Who's in control?"
Makima tilted her head.
"The devil? The human? Like Denji or Power?"
"The human part. It belongs to a woman called Reze, like your guy told you. Chainsaw man is now known to the public." Makima exhaled a long sigh, "It's going to be a long day. Reze's on the run. Don't engage in close combat against her."
"Why?"
"You'll be blown up to pieces."
"Like you just blew my mind?" Sam said with his usual sarcasm.
"Jokes aside," Makima sighed. "The last thing we need is to let the Chainsaw man's heart fall into anyone's hands."
"And why is that?" Sam thought about something. Why were devils so interested in the Chainsaw devil? It didn't make any sense to him currently.
But again, he came to this world before completing Chainsaw Man. His knowledge would be lacking, of course.
"It's a very long story that has something to do with us devils," Makima replied. "The only thing you have to know is that we need to protect Chainsaw Man."
"So you like that dog?" Sam cracked his back.
Makima put on her coat. "Who doesn't like puppies?"
He decided to change the topic.
"Anyway. I have a question," Sam asked.
"What is it?" Makima replied.
"What will you do with the NSCJ?"
"I'll control them to make me the head member and their boss. It would take a day to do so, and a few days to fool the media, which is under my control."
"That's my girl." Sam raised his fist and said, "Keep them under control."
Makima smiled before walking out of the door. "I'll call you when it's time."
"Yeah, yeah." Sam waved his hand. 'Keep being busy. The last thing I want is to lose the freedom of a single man.'
"No need to be afraid. You'll have plenty of freedom, at my house." Makima gave him a look and smirked before vanishing.
'Seriously. Is she Patrick Jane?' Sam shook his head and shrugged his shoulders. 'Again, I have plenty of time. I should buy another PS2. A bunch of manga and Ova.'

Sam was at Power's villa, sitting down with an iced drink in his hand, while he watched TV, searching for something interesting.
"Please, Sam, you can't do that to me," Power pleaded as she held his shoulder. "You need to write me a second book."
"Why is that? Aren't you the genius Power who inspired many people to achieve greatness?" Sam replied, exhaling a contented breath.
Power's fans had demanded her to write more about her self-improvement book. When Sam wrote his book, he left a few hints for other parts, such as desire and discipline. They would be discussed in another book. Since Power had taken it from him, she needed to complete the rest.
Power began to kiss his neck. "I'll make you cook less, deal?"
"Just write whatever comes to your mind. As for me, I don't feel any motivation."
"Oh, come on! What do you want me to do? Suck your dick!?"
"Maybe I'll consider after that," Sam said as he looked at the ceiling.
Power blushed and let out a frustrated breath. "You better not make any mistakes. It cost me a fortune to find an editor to correct your first draft."
'Glad to be back to my old life,' Sam thought.
His phone rang as Power unzipped his pants.
Angrily, Sam answered, "I said that I'm on vacation."
"Tony! There's another big bounty!"
"What is it, Enzo?"
"Someone is willing to pay a very large sum of money to kidnap Sam."
"Sam?" Sam almost exhaled a moan, creating the illusion of confusion. "Isn't he dead?" He then looked at Power, who grabbed his banana and put the tip inside of her mouth.
"No. He's been announced as alive again. A hacker obtained government data. Sam Lee is alive," said the underworld broker.
Well, it was the 2000s, and hacking was much easier back then.
"And who is willing to pay for this?" Sam asked. "And how much."
"Remember the Soviet assassin we talked about? The one who fought Chainsaw Man. She's willing to pay 1 billion for Sam alone, alive."
"I think my vacation had taken long enough." Sam said. "But I need to get paid a bit in advance, don't you think?"
"I'll let her know."
