CHAPTER 78

"How are you, Orpheus?" Theo starts the conversation. "Why those soldiers were chasing you earlier."

Orpheus stops from moving before he let out a sigh.

"They saw me while I am sneaking inside the palace."

To his surprise, Theo lets go of the book in his hand and it falls to the floor with a thud. He looks at Orpheus with wide eyes. He did not expect this prince to be so bold after not seeing him for a long time.

"You infiltrated them? For real?!"

"Yes." Orpheus replied. "I was actually looking for some clues about the previous royal family..."

Orpheus stops talking when he recalls Ramira's reactions earlier. It was something he did not expect to happen. He already heard the news that King Teriza and Prince Geradine had died and their enemies burned the whole Verdandi Kingdom. But what he never expected was Ramira's drastic change.

"Ramira... How is she?" Orpheus suddenly asked.
