All Roads Are Blocked
I didn't know what was going on, but a deathly silence overwhelmed the world. I tried to speak but the moment I opened my mouth and sucked in the air, it tasted like ash.
"Cough... Cough..." I couldn't help but enter into an attack of coughing. Things didn't seem ok at the moment and my chest... my chest was burning.
"Shh... don't breathe from your mouth," Aroon slowly spoke and he seemed in more agony than I did.
As he said, I closed my mouth shut and kept breathing in and out through my nose. I had to cough several times while refusing to open my lips.
And that made me feel as terrible as if I was in hell.
Just as I was in such a state, I didn't know time passed. I lost any sense with time until Aroon suddenly stood up, pushing away all the pets around us.
And then the red blazing light of fire appeared next, blinding and hurting my eyes.
