Andrea's POV
I felt my chest tightened with the thought of Sofia, I know what I went through trying to forget her and how I managed to get over her. I know how I felt when I shot her, when I thought I killed her.
Caesar has to be lying, Sofia can't be alive. I watched her die in front of me. She stopped breathing before his men came to take her away from me.
My mind wanders off to the time that father ambushed Caesar and I got freed from his captivity, the only thing I yearned was to see her body and give her a proper burial, Richard said he searched the whole house but he didn't find any body it made me think Caesar may have disposed the body and now he says she is alive.
I buried all her memories, her clothes, her pictures, every single thing so I won't be reminded of her everyday when I wake up.
"He could be lying." Richard says trying to convince me.
