SPIDERWEBS II

3RD PERSON'S POV

Amelia and Molly had arrived in Luxembourg with Harry. They were in the lower region of the hotel. The rooms at the hotel they where lodged in was packed with gang members or mafia members who had their business. People that mattered and people who wants to belong like Harry. The rest had illegal runnings underground.

Amelia and Molly were given gowns to wear for the party. The celebration would take place later in the day and Harry couldn’t wait to present his gifts to Declan. He hoped it would please him.

AMELIA ADAMS POV

Molly and I followed Harry into the room, filled with pulsating beats. The atmosphere was tinged with danger, as if all eyes were on us. Harry exchanged a silent nod with Mack and confidently made his way into the crowd.

My back wasn't as sore as it was yesterday. The doctor had bandaged it after giving Molly and me injections. I just turned 17, but I don't feel older. However, wearing this bodycon gown does make me feel different. I couldn't help but watch helplessly as people danced freely to the beats of the song being played. I couldn’t help but smile at how happy they looked.

My eyes kept wandering slowly around the room, people seemed to be enjoying themselves, some randomly showing their power rate.

It feels like eyes are on me, so I turned my head to search. At the left side of the room sat a woman looking at me. I quickly broke eye contact to avoid annoying her.

"Mo?" I nervously called out to Molly.

"Mm? Are you alright?"

"Yeah. What do you think is gonna happen here tonight?"

"We're gonna celebrate yours and whoever is hosting this party's birthday."

"I am nervous," I said truthfully.

"You're doing a good job of not showing it, birthday girl," I smiled at her.

"I th—"

"I appreciate everyone for coming for this birthday celebration. Hope y'all are having a good time? We're gonna move to the ballroom where we'll party, dine, and also see the celebrant. Thank you," the woman who was staring at me minutes ago said. She…she said it with so much elegance, like she wasn't scared of anyone. I watched as everyone followed her. Mack signaled we walk along too, so we did.
