Brought To Court

I go to the kitchen and search through the cabinets, empty. I looked in the closet and found a box. I opened it and drugs were in the box. I quickly close it and bring it out. I set it near the bed and climbed on top of the bed. "Help! Help! If you don't help me I will jump out the window!"

One of the men came in and checked on me. "Stop being so loud."

"Please, I have to pee and I need help."

The man smirks and gets close to me. "I could help you with other stuff."

I quickly grabbed the box and hit his head as hard as I could. He didn't knock out the first time so I grabbed the lamp and smashed it against his head. He blacked out and his head was bleeding. I grabbed his gun and walked to the door, I looked down the hall and made sure no one else was nearby. I ran out and hid against the walls, trying hard not to get caught.

I felt scared, I hope this goes out well. I never had to use a gun before. I hear footsteps coming towards me. I get the gun ready to shoot. The man continues to walk then finally notices me. I shoot him in the leg and take his phone. "Sorry." I quickly run and reach a dead end. I looked around, I could hear Hyun's men coming after me, the window. I look below and notice a pool, the floor level wasn't very high, this was my only chance. I tightly hold the phone and gun and take a few steps back.

I run and crash through the window. I closed my eyes and hoped I would fall into the pool. Luckily I did, I opened my eyes and swam up. I take a deep breath when I reach the top and climb out of the pool. I ran as fast as I could, trying to get the phone to work. Luck must've been on my side, the phone wasn't too damaged from the pool water. I dial a phone number and hoped that person would pick up. I had to speak in English. This person is an old friend that I know lives in the United States.

"Hello? Tommy? Please help me."

"Who is this?" He asks.

"It's me, xiaoxiao. Miss Lin."

"What's wrong? you sound like you're in trouble?"

"Please track me. I need help."

"Alright. Miss Lin, listen to me and go to the nearest cafe to you. I'll reach you as fast as I can."

"Thank you tommy." I hung up the phone and ran to the closet cafe.

While waiting for tommy, i knew the phone still worked and was hesitating to call Zhi xiang.

"Miss Lin!" It was tommy. He handed me a jacket and helped me inside his car. "What's wrong."

"I was kidnapped. They will be searching for me after they contact their master."

"Should I call the police?"

"No they need to be reported to the Chinese police. Right now just help me get away."

"Yes ma'am."

In the car I look at the phone and start to tear up. I put the car window down and threw the phone out. I knew I had to, otherwise Hyun would've been able to track me.

"Miss Lin, I heard you were engaged. Here," he hands me his phone. "Call him."

"No tommy, it's best not to contact him. People will follow him and can hurt him. I don't want that."

He doesn't say anything and puts his phone away.

Zhi xiang perspective

Three years had passed. I've taken over both companies for three years for xiaoxiao. I still don't understand how she is still unable to be found.

"Sir. You have a message. I think you'll be happy."

It was a handwritten letter from, "Xiaoxiao!" I quickly open the letter and read it in my head.

Zhi xiang, I'm sorry i went missing for three years. I have a friend helping me investigate Hyun and his drug business undercover. I have something to tell you, you are a father. He is three years old and he is being perfectly taken care of while I'm investigating. We will reunite once this is all over. I love you zhi xiang. Stay safe. Please watch my mom for me. Love xiaoxiao.

I couldn't help but tear up and cry. "I have a son. Xiaoxiao was pregnant this entire time." I quickly get up and rush to my car. "Take care of my things today. I have other stuff to do." I tell my assistant.

Still crying, i drive over to xiaoxiao's mom house. I rush inside and look for her.

"Zhi xiang! What are you doing here?"

"Ma, xiaoxiao is alive and...you have a grandson who is three years old. She finally contacted me."

Her mother falls to the floor and starts crying. "My xiaoxiao..she is safe."

"Yes ma, she is investigating. Undercover."

"What's your son's name? Did she say?"

"No, but I know she will be back soon."

One year later

FLASH NEWS: Lin xiaoxiao, President of The Lin company, wins case. Suspects are to be in prison for thirty years.

I walked out of the court, it felt good to be back home. I could see my mom and zhi xiang waiting for me. I ran to Zhi Xiang and cried. It's been so long since I've held him. Zhi xiang looks into my eyes and kisses me.

"Xiaoxiao. I can't believe you're actually back."

I turn around and hold out my hand. "Not just me."

A little boy comes walking while holding my friend, Tommy's hand.

"Mommy!" He comes running after me and wraps his little arms around my legs.

He then sees Zhi xiang and my mom and gets shy.

Zhi xiang bends down and smiles, "hi..what's your name?"

He looks at me then Zhi Xiang, " Hanxing..Lee hanxing."

"Hanxing, this might be hard to believe but..I'm your daddy and this is your grandma."

"I know. Mommy always showed pictures of you to me," he holds out his hand. "I'm happy to see you daddy."

Zhi Xiang shakes his hand then pulls in hanxing. Then hug each other for a while. I looked at Tommy and smiled. "Thank you Tommy."
