I write this as an honest review. First of all, this story is interesting. Quite promising. Let's talk why I give a mediocre rating then. I really wanted to give higher rating. But I wanted to give the author a harsh lesson. Because it is a pity for a promising author to be indulged in the illusion that he or she already did great. Let's dig into why I give this rating: 1. Author, you need to work on your editing. Seriously. I recommend you to watch youtube channels by best seller authors on how to self edit. 2. I think you could work better on world building and character building. Don't write a wall of texts to describe them in detail from the get go. The readers will find it boring. Delve into the story right away and keep your reader captivated by your story. The readers did not come for an encyclopedia and they would not read a wall of texts describing something or someone they did not know yet, as such they did not have feelings whatsoever yet towards the characters or the places in the story. 3. I do not know if using symbols can make people unable to vote or not. I think someone in the forum mentioned that using Asian symbols can make a bug that make reader unable to vote. I do not know if using other symbols will do the same. I am not clear about this, you can try searching in the forum. About the symbols and emojis, I found a trend lately that there are some authors used them in their writing. I myself am not a fan of this. Because it seems like the author is trying the breach the fourth wall. Imagine you read an interesting part, for example that did not occur in this novel, I made it up, for example there is a romantic scene of people kissing and the author threw a kiss emoji. I would not like it. I did not know if there are other readers that would like it or not, because I saw the trend of some authors using emojis in their writing. Alright, after the harsh part, I wanted to list the positive views: 1. The character building and world building is well thought of. 2. The light hearted language used made for a fun reading. 3. The story flow is good. Overall, this is an interesting novel and has a lot of potential. I hope the author good luck and keep working hard! Don't be disheartened if there are people giving bad ratings for it will be a valuable experience to build up and polish your writing skills.
